Vacation Rental Description

This immaculate cottage is located on 37 acres of privacy with 1000  
feet of shorefront.  Access to the property is gated and is the only  
cottage on the property.  Notice in the picture that the deck is  
glass enclosed so that small children cannot fall through as is the  
loft inside the cottage.  Each bedroom has a queen sized bed with  
twins beds in the loft.  From the kitchen picture you can see that  
every care has been taken to make this a fun, workable kitchen.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The cottage has an outside gas grill, two gas cookers for lobsters  
and clams, a granite fireplace for either cooking or just enjoying  
the fire.  There are four kayaks and a canoe. With just a short  
paddle away you can be up close with the seals and shorebirds of the  
Maine Coast. 
The cottage has baseboard hot water heat, washer/dryer, Satellite  
TV, VCR, CD player, stereo, telephone and the kitchen has a  
dishwasher, toaster, cooking utensils, full sized refrigerator with  
ice and water on the door.

Activities and Attractions

Besides kayaking, laying in the sun, eating lobsters and clams you  
can avail yourself of many outdoor and indoor activities.  There are  
a number of freshwater lakes in close proximity to the cottage as  
well as many state maintained hiking areas.  For grocery shopping,  
Ellsworth is 14  
miles away.  In the same area there is an outlet of LL Bean, Maine's  
most famous retailer of too much to list in outdoor gear and  
clothing.  Reny's of Maine is well a kept secret until you have been  
there to see their bargains and then you won't stop talking about  
it.  Another store that is possibly the best bargain store you will  
find anywhere is Marden's.  
Bar Harbor is 20 miles away with more to do than you can possible  
find time for.  Whale watching, boat trips, Acadia National Park,  
bicycling, hiking. 
Another section of Acadia National Park is located about 15 miles  
east of the cottage and is a beautiful walking, hiking, biking area  
as pristine as anywhere you have seen.  If you have never been to  
Maine you are in for a treat.  Those who have, want to return again  
and again. 

Vacation Rental Rates

Our rates are $1850 per week,  June through August  
for 4 people. Rate for 5th and 6th persons is $350 per week.  The  
rate for September and October is  $1400 per week for 4 people and  
$350 each 5th and 6th person. Please add 7% sales tax to all rates.  
One third of the rate is required to hold the reservation with the  
remainder plus a $400 security deposit is due upon arrival.
