Vacation Rental Description

The Palms of Paradise is a lovely four-bedroom home, new to the weekly rental market. You’ll love 
this  home, with its upscale furnishings, several notches above the typical vacation rental home. 
And it is just 1-1/4 blocks from beautiful white-sugar-sand Miramar Beach. Dining shopping and 
amusements are close at hand. You can swim with dolphins, cruise the Gulf, parasail, kayak or 
partake in any of dozens of other nearby activities.

The tasteful, spacious master BR features a king bed, large walk-in closet, TV/DVD/VCR, ceiling fan, 
clock radio and a private bath with twin sinks, shower, and garden soaker tub. 

There are two bedrooms with queen beds and top line mattresses and bedding, clock radios, and TV/DVD 
or TV/VCR. The fourth bedroom features two comfortable twin beds, a TV/VCR and a selection of 
videos.  All bedrooms and baths are on a single floor - no stairs to deal with.

The large living room features a comfortable sofa, cushy love seat  and an entertainment system with 
large flat screen plasma TV and DVD.

You'll have a separate dining room that seats 6, with a baker's rack and wine cabinet, plus a 
breakfast nook off the kitchen that seats 4 and seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. 

The spacious kitchen has everything you'll need for housekeeping, including range/oven, dishwasher, 
disposal, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with ice and filtered water dispenser, microwave, 
toaster oven, blender, mixer, coffee pot, 4-slice toaster, crock pot, lobster pot and scads of 
utensils. 

After a day at the beach, you can lounge on your private backyard patio with large gas grill, catch 
your favorite shows on the large screen TV, and just kick back and get away from everyday for a 
while.  If you need to stay in touch with the world, wireless Internet is here for you.

No smoking and No pets.

Activities and Attractions

Destin features a wide array of water-oriented activities, including beautiful white-sand beaches, 
surfing, sailing, parasailing, snorkeling/scuba diving, pontoon boat rentals, windsurfing, kayaking, 
jet skiing, sightseeing/dinner/dolphin watching cruises, and shelling. You can even swim with the 
dolphins in the open ocean. The shopping is great, with the largest Designer Outlet Mall in the US 
just 3 miles from the home.

Other area activities include hiking/walking (Gulf-front state parks nearby), biking, miniature 
golf, fitness center/gym, tennis, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, amusement parks, museums, zoo, 
restaurants, cinemas and scooter & electric vehicle rentals.

The Destin area is home to a dozen fine golf courses, available to the public. There are nearby 
state forests with biking trails and bike, kayak and canoe rentals. And Destin is close to deep 
water, boasting a large fleet of charter fishing boats and day boats for the finest in deep-sea 
fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Vacation Rental Rates

Summer (June 21-Aug 15) -- $1275/week (3 night minimum)
Late Summer (Aug 16-Sep 26) -- $120/night; $775/week (3 night minimum)
Fall/Winter (Sep 27-Feb 27) -- $100/night; $675/week, $1300/month for Nov-Feb

Rates are for up to 6 people. The home will sleep up to 9, so add $100/week ($15/night) per 
additional person over age 2. 

We rent to responsible student groups with a $750 security deposit.

A $65-$85 cleaning fee will be charged for rentals of less than a full week.

Half of rent is due upfront to secure reservation. The remainder of the rent, plus 11% FL tax, and a 
$500 security deposit ($750 for students)are due 30 days prior to scheduled arrival.  Security 
deposit will be refunded 2-3 days after checkout if home is left in the condition it was found and 
all rental policies are followed. 

All reservations during summer season are from Saturday (4 pm check-in) to Saturday (10 am check-
out). 

Home is available for long-term rental Nov-Feb at at $1300/month plus utilities for 2 people for 2-3 
months. Inquire about rates for shorter times, more people.
