Due North Cottage of Houghton Lake in Houghton Lake

Cozy, clean knotty pine interior on Houghton Lakes beautiful sunny north shore. 55 feet of private
lakefront with a sandy bottom with a gradual drop which is nice for swimming. Cottage has three
bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, one with a double size bed and one with a set of twin bunk
beds. The relaxing living room has a sleeper couch and a large window to enjoy the view of the
lake. The cottage is fully carpeted. The bathroom is modern with a full size shower and tub unit.

The cottage has a stove, 2 refrigerators, microwave, fully stocked kitchen with accessories and
appliances, coffee pot, toaster, blender pillows, blankets, and bedspreads. We have a window air conditioning unit,
TV, VCR/DVD, cable, charcoal grill, gas grill, picnic table, fire pit, swing set, sand box, and a
generous amount of lawn furniture.
12 foot aluminum row boat and oars. Motor may be rented separately. We also have a dock and boat
lift if you wish to bring your own boat.

Houghton Lake is the largest inland lake in Michigan with over 20,000 acres of water. Summer
activities include fishing, swimming, boating, golf, and shopping. There are many restaurants to
chose from, bars, go carts, 2 kids amusement parks, putt putt golf, and other water rentals. The
cottage is within walking distance of a convenience store that sells ice cream and other treats.

$750.00 a week in the summer (Sunday to Sunday) Reduced rates after September 1. $300 down  to reserve.
