Vacation Rental Description

The most stunning features of this condo are the commanding view of the Gulf of Mexico and the 
expansive landscaped grounds.  From within the great room, master bedroom and their wrap around 
decks you can watch the activities in Vaca Cut; facinating 7 to 10 foot sea rays leaping in the air, 
boaters and fisherman and the spectacular sunsets that will capture your gaze from this calm and 
peaceful setting.  For boaters and fisherman there is electric power and fresh water on the dock, 
even an ice machine and bait freezer dockside in the tiki hut.  A special light under the dock 
allows you to watch fish swim at night.  Plus covered parking for your car and boat trailer.
The interior has light and airy, tropical furnishings with a touch of Art Deco, a king bed in the 
master, two twins in the second bedroom and the sofa sleeper for children.  Creature comforts 
include: central air, gas grill, microwave, dishwasher, laundry, linens and towels, a fully equipped 
kitchen, TV, VCR, DVD, stereo and dial-up internet-ready phone. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Marathon is located halfway to Key West so you can experience and investigate in two directions from 
your getaway.  You are only 1 1/2 hours from Key West, 2 hours from Miami, 2 1/2 hours from Fort 
Lauderdale or 10 minutes from Marathon's own airport and 20 min. from Fishermen's Hospital.
The center of town is at mile marker 50 and the condo at MM 53&1/2.
And then, there is all the fun stuff.  At your doorstep: private heated pool, tennis court and 
dock.  Within walking or biking distance: fine dining, funkie restaurants, boat rentals, 
parasailing and dive shop.    

Activities and Attractions

Sombrero Beach is one of the finest and Bahia Honda is one of the 10 best US swimming beaches.  
Sombrero Reef is a favorite of divers and snorkelers.  At Dolphin Reseach Center and at Crain Point 
Hammock you can begin to know the Keys.  The new Community Park boasts tennis courts, a skate board 
park and an ampitheater.  Both live theater and cinema are also available.  Really fun shopping and 
dining await you.  Biking and hiking paths beckon.  Wildlife, fishing and relaxing to tempt you. 
And, from August through March, you can snorkle for lobster out in front of the condo with a tickle 
stick and net! 

Vacation Rental Rates

Seasonal:  From $1100.00/week to $1350.00/week plus 11.5% FL tax.  
Monthly:  Three and one half times the weekly rate.
Specials:  Inquire!  Discounts on short notice dates and shoulder dates.
Inquire even if we show booked, as we have neighbors/owners who may be open.
Security Deposit:  $400.00
