Well equipped townhouse overlooking lake in Bradenton

The house is approximately 1,100 sq feet in area on two levels and
overlooks a lake to the rear, a frequent feeding place for ducks,
egrets, herons, cormorants and pelicans and home to lots of turtles
and fish. A pair of bald eagles, have set up home in a tree
on the other side of the lake just a couple of hundred yards away
and are seen frequently.
The ground floor comprises of a combined lounge and dining room, a
large kitchen, an enclosed lanai, with triple sliding glass doors
leading to the lakeside. Upstairs are a twin-bedded room to the
front, and a master bedroom overlooking the lake. Each bedroom has
its own bathroom with toilet, bath, shower, and washbasin. There is
a third toilet and washbasin on the ground floor. The house sleeps,
and is equipped throughout, for a maximum of four adults only.
Because of the proximity of the lake, which is not fenced in, the
house is not suitable for young children.
There is air-conditioning throughout with the exception of the rear
lanai. The main rooms and the lanai also have three speed electric
ceiling fans. The house has an alarm system that is directly
connected to the police, fire and ambulance services with a panic
button facility.
The lounge has digital cable TV installed, which provides some 200
TV channels and 40 audio channels. Movies on demand are also
available but at an additional cost of between $5 and $10 per film.
Standard cable outlets, providing half-a-dozen or so channels, are
in both bedrooms and there is one portable TV that can be plugged
into either room. The lounge also has a CD player/radio and a
combined DVD/VCR unit. Each bedroom is equipped with telephones and
alarm/radio clocks. Available by prior arrangement there is a
computer system with a high speed “always on” cable Internet
connection for accessing the Internet and e-mail.
The community facilities are five minutes walk from the house, and
include a large swimming pool surrounded by a furnished sun deck,
tennis and basketball courts, volley-ball pitch, a clubhouse with
showers and loos, a communal barbecue and picnic tables.
All bedding and towels are supplied (including beach towels). The
kitchen is well equipped including a washing machine and dryer,
ironing-board, iron etc. The house, all linen and towels, etc are
expected to be left clean, otherwise the cost of bringing in
professional cleaners will be deducted from your security deposit.
A car is essential. Reserved parking is directly opposite the front
door. There are numerous restaurants, supermarkets and shops, a Post
Office and library all within ten minutes drive. There is an ATM
machine at the petrol station/store just along the road from the
entrance to the community.
