Cannes - Luxury One Bedroom Apartment - Sleeps 4 in Cannes

This an air-conditioned, 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment with
terrace is on the 2nd floor, in a residence situated Avenue Lattre
de Tassigny in Cannes.

The apartment is approximately 55 sqm (+18 sqm of terrace) and has
south-west exposure. It is fully air-conditioned.

There is a swimming-pool in the residence, as well as a concierge,
an intercom system, and an elevator. A parking space is also
available at the rear of the residence. This accommodation is
available for weekly rentals throughout the year.

The living room is furnished with a double size sofa bed, two
armchairs, a dresser and a round dining table seating 4. For your
entertainment there is a cabled TV (Noos), a VCR, a DVD, and a
stereo with CD player. A French window opens onto a 20 sq metre
terrace, with sea-views and looking over the swimming pool and
gardens.

On the terrace outside is a table seating 4, if you wish to have
lunch / dinner outside, and some sun-loungers.

The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator / freezer, an oven,
electric induction hotplates, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee
maker, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There is another French
window that leads to the terrace.

The bedroom has two twin beds (that can be made as a double bed upon
request), nighstands with table lamps and a large built-in closet. A
French window leads to the terrace. Another large built-in closet is
in the hallway.

The marble bathroom has two washbasins, and a bathtub with shower.
Water closet is separated.

A telephone line, restricted to incoming calls, can be used with a
prepaid card: there is a phone/fax machine in the entrance hall and
2 cordless phones in the apartment. Bed & bath linens are provided.

High speed ADSL connection with WiFi is available in the apartment,
if you wish to bring your own laptop or notebook computer with you.

The residence is located 1.4 kms (about 5-10 minutes drive) from the
Croisette. If you don’t have a car, and don’t want to walk, a bus
runs Avenue Lattre de Tassigny.

Cannes is the city of Stars, Festivals and International Conventions.
Mostly famous for its International Film Festival (in May) the town
regularly hosts well-known stars in its many luxury Hotels.

On La Croisette, the most famous fashion brands are represented :
among others Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dolce & Gabanna, Bulgari and Hermès.

Of course, restaurants and boutiques are all around. The white-sand
beach across La Croisette is usually crowded but remains one of the
most famous throughout the French Riviera.

* The Croisette, in Cannes, is where you will mingle with the rich
and famous.
* The "Croisette" is the Rodeo Drive of Beverly Hills, Manhattan's
Fifth Avenue, or Chicago's Lake Shore Drive. On the Croisette you
will find the boutiques of the Haute Couture designers of the world
including Versace, Hermes, Channel, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari,
Yves St. Laurent, and many, many others.
* Here you will find the casinos Cannes is famous for: they are
located in the Carlton Hotel, the Noga Hilton, and the Palais des
Festival. The fourth casino, the Palm Beach Casino, is located at
the other end of Cannes in the Palm Beach area.

Our apartment is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood
literally just a few steps from the center of activity (one-and-four-
tenths kilometers from the Palais des Festivals).

Why not start planning your vacation right now??? Here is an idea
for a one-day itinerary!... Breakfast in Cannes... lunch in Monaco..
dinner in Italy... back to sleep in Cannes the same night... sleep
till 9:00... send husband for fresh croissants from patisserie at
end of block and around the corner... catch the 10:30 AM train to
Monaco.

Take a taxi up the big hill to the Palace in Monte Carlo ($10).
Visit Monaco and have lunch in Monte Carlo. At 5 PM walk down the hill
to the train station and take the 5:30 PM train to downtown to San
Remo Italy, about 45 minutes on the train.

There you will find wonderful shopping, great prices, till 8 PM. Have
a great Italian dinner by the sea in the old fishing harbor and catch
the 11 PM train back to Cannes. Midnight in Cannes - walk home fall
into bed!!!

Enjoy sitting on the terrace and sipping a cocktail or enjoying a
typical French meal. And just relax. . .

Résidence Le Graziella is ideally situated for fantastic day trips
along the French Riviera, and also the Italian Riviera.

While close enough to be convenient to the beaches, we're also just
far enough to provide a cool, quiet, relaxing and enjoyable "get-
away" from the crowds, and the hustle and bustle along the beach.

Below are examples of our more popular day trips, along with some
brief information. All are close by and can be reached in about an
hours drive!

There are far too many places for us to go into any great detail
here.

We HIGHLY recommend you go to Ventimiglia for the Friday open-air
market!!

But you should get there early - we leave at 6:30 to be there about
7:30 to find a parking space.

Then we visit San Remo in the afternoon, and head back to Cannes for
dinner.

These are just a few of our popular visits, but you'll also find
many "quiet" towns and villages that are just as interesting - if
not more so!

TRANSPORTATION -
--------------

* Nearest Airport - Nice (35 kilometers); time is 45 minutes.

* Nearest Beach - Cannes (one and two-tenths kilometers); time is
five minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot

* Cannes is a major train terminus in France. The trains leave for
Nice every ten minutes in the morning, then throughout the day every
15 minutes to half hour. The train ride from Cannes to Nice is 30-to-
45 minutes depending on if you take a commuter train or not. From
Cannes you can travel by train to Aix en Provence, Marsaille, Nice,
Monaco, Italy, virtually all of France, and Europe.

* The train station is about a ten-to-15-minute walk from our
apartment.

Our rates are inclusive apart from the following -

1. A Security deposit of EURO 1000 is required, to cover possible
breakages, replacements and repairs. This security deposit is
authorised on a credit card about 3 weeks before arrival.

This is charged to a credit card and then cancelled after departure
provided no claim on the deposit is made.

2. There is a Final Cleaning charge of EURO 85.00, which is payable
at the time of the final balance is due.

3. Our local property managers offer a Meet & Greet Service at the
apartment on arrival, for which there is a charge of EURO 50.00 per
rental.

4. Should you wish our property managers to provide towels and
bedlinen, there is a hire charge of EURO 40 per person per week. If
you bring your own, then of course there is no additional charge for
linen.

We ACCEPT ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS - Credit card payments can be
transacted over the telephone or by fax or can be made securely
Online via PayPal.

All credit card transactions are subject to a three per cent
bank handling fee.

Alternatively payments can be made by Bank WIRE transfer (SWIFT) in
Sterling Pounds, US Dollars or Euros.

A 20% Discount offered on all LASTMINUTE BOOKINGS. ie Bookings made
within 14 days of arrival.

Rentals normally run Saturday to Saturday. Arrival times to the
property are between 16.00 - 19.00 hours. Arrivals after 19.00 hours
are subject to an out of hours arrival supplement. 3 weeks booking
only for Cannes Film Festival : 14th to 29th May.

Additional cleaning and maid service is available on request and is
charged at EURO 12 per hour.
