Vacation Rental Description

The "Showroom Loft" is the entire second floor of my warehouse 
building located at Drolet and Rachael. This loft has a great 
location on the Plateau. Everything is so close at hand including the 
Metro which is only two short blocks away.

At this site you will see only my properties and can access a lot of 
detailed information and pictures on this property plus 3 other lofts 
I also have available as furnished rentals.

Decor in the Showroom loft is somewhat zen modern I suppose but I 
have mixed in some collectable Aimes era fixtures and furniture ( Arc 
lamps, Barcelona chairs, Alessi counter stools, etc ). Modern turkish 
patchwork carpets and pillows add some lively colour to the finished 
look.

Beautiful wide plank, chocolate, hardwood floors are throughout the 
loft.  

The ceilings are exceptionally high at 12 feet giving this 1200 
square foot loft a very open feel. 

There is one closed bedroom with a white platform bed. The bedroom is 
discretely located behind french doors off the main loft area. 
The bedroom also has a louvered and screened window which can be used 
in the summer for fresh air if desired ( some persons like some fresh 
air when sleeping ).

The loft has central air conditioning.

A small but fully equipped kitchen is also in the main space. 
It is however, very discretely closed off by french doors. 
The kitchen has black lacquer cabinets and stainless appliances 
( dishwasher and combination convection-microwave oven ).

The bathroom is quite large and has a very nice sized walk in ceramic 
shower. An electronic washer and dryer is closed off in a separate 
closet.

The entire  east wall is a bank of 7 huge windows complete with 
aluminum venetian blinds. This loft has plenty of light !  

A fold down modular mattress couch can serve as a second bedroom if 
needed. This "second" bed, can also now be closed off for privacy in 
the evening with floor to ceiling orange curtains.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Kitchen : Quiet stainless dishwasher,  Panasonic genius combination 
microwave and convection oven, Ceramic cook top.

Bathroom : Large walk in ceramic shower. High end electronic washer 
and dryer. Iron, towels etc all supplied.

Livingroom : Flat screen TV and DVD-CD. Satelite TV with Express Vu 
station package including movie packages.

Wireless high speed internet with unlimited down and uploads.
Ethernet cable also available if needed.

Activities and Attractions

This location is just behind the busiest part of St Denis street 
which is a major shopping venue in Montreal. Location wise you are so 
close to all you could wish for. Plus the Metro is only two short 
blocks away at the corner of St Denis and Mont Royal.

Two major parks are also only about 5 short blocks away. Park 
Lafontaine is just east of the loft on Rachael, and the huge Mont 
Royal Park is just west on Rachael.

Specialty stores for groceries are all around the area, plus there is 
a large Provigo-Loblaws store at St Urbain and Mont Royal, which also 
has the nice feature of free underground parking.

Vacation Rental Rates

Weekly (7 nights )
1 person : $950
2 persons : $1100
3or4 persons : $1400
Plus $60 exit cleaning charge.

Monthly : $2750 
10% discount applies for rentals of three months or more in the high 
season and for all minimum one month rentals during the off season  
(from Oct 15 to March 31 )


3 Day minimum stay : 
1-2 persons : $175 per day.
3-4 persons : $225 per day.
Plus $60 exit cleaning service charge.
