It has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, with beautiful Mexican tile in the colors
of the ocean.

The master bedroom is very spacious with a beautiful marble mosaic
headboard. It has a king size bed and TV set with Sky satellite,
which includes 25 music channels. The room includes a/c. The bedroom
opens onto the grand terrace: talk about a great view! That’s what
you get when you take your shower with a view that overlooks the
ocean.

Then you have the Mayan room with its thached roof with its balcony,
overlooking the emerald majesty of the jungle. It has 2 double beds
that sleep 2 or 4. It includes its own bathroom. It also has a/c, but
the breeze coming through is enough to enjoy a good nights rest.

Next, you have the blue room with 2 double beds, and a/c unit. Its
bathroom is nearby in the hall way.

There is an open kitchen, so you don’t miss any of the fun. It is
equipped with an electric stovetop, microwave with air extractor,
countertop oven, coffee maker, cooking utensils, electric can opener,
and a blender. Bottled water is also provided. So, you have all you
need to cook with if you opt for it. Or you can ask “Epi” to fix you
a nice, private dinner in your condo for a very reasonable price.

Hold a comfortable get together in the open living room which enjoys
an ocean view. The two large sofas can sleep two more people. You
have a stereo/CD player, and another TV set with Sky satellite.

Akumal has its own charm; you need only go once to fall in love with
its low-key ambiance. You can get in touch with nature all over again.

Akumal is a quiet and restful village located an easy 1-hour drive
south of Cancun international airport. We recommend you rent a
vehicle. Most rental agencies have offices at or near the airport.
Rental cars offer the most freedom for the tourist. Other ways to get
to your lodging are private shuttles, taxis, and public buses.
Private shuttles can also be arranged prior to arriving, and are best
for very small or very large groups. Taxis can be expensive. Buses
are very inexpensive but fairly adventurous.

While Akumal is a quiet beach getaway, it is home to most of the
local amenities. Akumal bay a short 5 min. walk from your condo, has
an incredible beach for swimming or snorkeling, The dive shop is the
base for many of the available water activities such as cave diving,
regular diving and fishing. Ask about your discount card for the dive
shop.

You can also enjoy biking, turtle watches (summer), jungle tours,
horseback riding, sightseeing, shopping, boating, windsurfing,
massage, yoga, Cyber Cafe with internet and international phone calls.
Day care, money exchange, ATM, post office, bus stop, taxis, library,
gift shops, gym.

At the main entrance there are two small grocery/liquor stores for
your last minute needs, and several boutiques and gift shops. Here
you will also find restaurants for every taste and budget. Akumal is
the main entrance to half moon bay and Yalku lagoon.

Akumal is a perfectly situated base to explore the Mayan Riviera,
less than 20 minutes drive to the Mayan ruins of Tulum, Xcaret,
Xpuha, ecological reserves, and the shopping & nightlife of Playa Del
Carmen. From Playa Del Carmen, it is an easy 30 min ferry ride to
Cozumel.

Amenities: daily maid service except Sundays. Linens, beach towels,
toilet paper, soap,dish washing soap and clean towels are included.

If you need a hairdryer or an iron ask the maid. We have an alarm
clock so you don’t miss your flight. We have laundry facilities. Two
tv sets with Sky satellite.

You can enjoy the nice infinity pool, or walk on the shoreline and
pickup gifts from the sea.
