Vacation Rental Description

The Executive Suite is an ocean view, second floor, 2 Bedroom 2
Bathroom, 1200 Square Foot Living Space. The Executive Suite is
perfect for family vacations & getaway weekends with friends. Sleeping
arrangements for 1 – 8 persons.

A traveler to Jacksonville Beach has a multitude of accommodation
options. Each property when viewed on the Internet can appear to be
much the same as the next. We believe the small details and personal
service make the difference. Hotels are often staffed by employees
without passion for their product, or Vacation Rental properties
managed by distant owners hoping to simply to cover the cost of their
own vacation home, with the client’s needs coming second. La Palmeraie
is different than the rest.

We, as the owner/managers of La Palmeraie have 15 years of extensive
worldwide business travel experience to call upon to understand the
needs and wants of our clientele. For our own personal travel needs we
only use vacation rentals and boutique hotels, giving us positive &
negative experiences from the traveler’s perspective. The
considerations to & the indulgences for our guests are a reflection of
cumulative experience as clients.

Pets are important members of any family; we welcome the dogs & cats
in your party with dangerous breed exceptions.

We live in the neighborhood, and thus can provide valuable insight on
our area, while also being available to attend to guest’s needs at
short notice.

Many accommodation properties are operated with a focus solely on
margins. We believe that accommodations should benefit from passion,
consideration and acumen.

Our guest’s comfort & safety are our paramount concerns. We use only
600 thread count bed linens and Egyptian cotton bath linens. Our
linens never come in contact with chlorine bleach in deference to
sensitive skin & environmental concerns. Our linens are soaked in a
Woolite solution for 24 hours and then cold water laundered. 

Unlike many hotels and vacation rental properties our cleaning service
never “tops up” the clean linen count in a suite. Every single thread
of bed and bath linens, including duvet covers are removed to be
laundered and replaced with an all new stock of sanitized linens.

A Florida beach house originally constructed in 1933, as the family
abode for the then mayor Gonzalez. In 2004 La Palmeraie was
extensively renovated, commencing an entirely new chapter in this
historic home’s story. 

The house is divided into 3 apartments, each with their own discrete
separate entrance to ensure each guest’s privacy. The ground floor of
the house is comprised of the Master Suite, and the Garden Suite. The
entire second floor is occupied by the Executive Suite.

During the extensive renovation process, entirely new kitchens and
bathrooms were installed in each unit. All infrastructure systems were
replaced with the highest efficiency equipment available. When
possible, the period original treatments in each suite have been
refurbished to preserve the character of the space while adding high
standards of modern design, features & conveniences.

"what was supposed to be a 2 day business trip turned in to a 4 day
mini vacation thanks to the outstanding accomidations! myself, wife
and 3 kids had plenty of room in the executive 2 bedroom suite. having
3 flat panel LCD TV's and plenty of board games as well as the
computer was a lifesaver with 3 kids on a rainy day! the beds, sheets
and towels were very comfortable and luxurious. the place was
immaculate in and out, would highly recomend to anyone staying in the
jacksonville area!

"We recently stayed in the Executive Suite, I can't say enough nice
things about our stay. We have family in Jacksonville and have stayed
in several condos on the beach but this one far outweighed everything
else, even being right on the sand. the beach can be seen from the
covered porch, where you can watch the sun come up in the morning. The
grounds and the fire pit were beautiful. Everything is provided for
you including all those little things that you have to get at the
store when you stay anywhere else. I am a Chef and the kitchen was
great and I was able to cook Thanksgiving dinner for my family without
having to buy any pots and pans (whick I was prepared to do). In the
future we will never have to look for another place to stay as this
will definitely be home when we are in Jacksonville."

bedroom features a 32 Inch LCD Television, with DVD Player & Audio

The Double Size Sunset Bedroom features a 32 Inch LCD Television, with
DVD Player & Audio System.

The large ocean view Living Room & Dining Room space is convertible to
increase the sleeping capacity of the Executive Suite. Two Double Size
Futons are surrounded by retractable full length privacy curtains;
each sleeping cubicle has its own dimmable pendant lighting. 

The Living Room entertainment area features a 32 Inch LCD Television
with DVD Player, Audio System & iPod dock. Satellite & Cable TV
programming including NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice & Gol TV, and
a collection of critically acclaimed films on DVD. A games table with
dimmable pendant lighting and a selection of card & board games. Enjoy
the latest volume of La Palmeraie Quarterly, our soundtrack magazine
for your listening pleasure. A collection of critically acclaimed
DVD’s is at hand for cinema fans.

The Dining Area has a sunny southern exposure and seating for six. 

In the Kitchen expectations are met with stove, fridge, icemaker,
dishwasher, microwave oven, coffeemaker & toaster. Expectations are
surpassed with a waffle iron, blender, toaster oven, sink disposal,
herbs & spices, cooking oil, condiments, coffee, tea, creamer and
other kitchen stock basics. A workstation island gives more counter
workspace and provides a great spot for guests to socialize with the
cook while seated at the island. Place Settings for 12.
 
The Office space is equipped with a desk, chair, computer, monitor,
printer & fax all included in your accommodation rate. Select an album
for your listening pleasure from the library of more than 2000+ stored
in the iTunes session.

A laundry room equipped with washer, dryer, iron & ironing board is
stocked with laundry supplies inclusive to your accommodation rate
makes longer trips away from home easier.

Your private ocean view veranda has a high top table & seating to
enjoy your morning coffee or relax while you cook dinner on a gas grill.
