This Shelter Island retreat says Beach House with its views of

is three houses sway from one
of the island's lovliest beaches.

We have created an open plan living, dining, and kitchen area. Also
on the first level is the
master suite with a sitting room and spa bathroom. On the patio
level are three additional bedrooms
and two bathrooms which open into a family room with wet bar. The
house's high ceilings,
whitewashed pine board interiors, and soft palette of seaside blues
and greens set the tone for
carefree but elegant living and relaxing.

A short ferry ride promises that Shelter Island is removed from the
hustle and bustle of Sag Harbor
and Easthampton, though it also provides easy access to all of the
Hamptons' amenities, Montauk
Point, and the acclaimed North Fork vineyards.

Our house is three houses from Wade's beach, the island's most
popular family beach. There is
wonderful hiking and kayaking at the Mashomack Nature Preserve.
Quiet country roads lend themselves
to bike riding and strolling. The island also offers boating, golf,
tennis, and equestrian
activities. There are several great restaurants and the trendy
Sunset Beach Bar. A five minute
ferry ride puts all the other Hamptons towns and beaches within easy
reach.
