It is truly back to the basics at this rustic, yet extremely inviting, cottage in the 
woods (don’t be surprised to wake up to deer out your windows).  Yet, it is only 
100 feet to a short path that leads you directly to the pier and float (water access).  
Walk a few steps farther and you are on Conner Point with views of Somes 
Sound, the Eastern Way and the Western Way.  Absolutely breathtaking!!!  
Located off Fernald Point Road, this cottage is within walking distance of hiking 
trails in Acadia National Park, 5 minutes from the town of Southwest Harbor 
(restaurants, shopping, etc.), and approximately 30 minutes from Ellsworth, 
Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, and much, much more. 

The cottage is quite spacious with a sky-lit, cathedral ceiling living room with fireplace 
(wood provided), pull-out queen sofa, dining room, kitchen, and pantry.  Sleeping 
accommodations are one large bedroom with two ¾ beds and a single cot, and 
another smaller bedroom with two twin beds.  Bathroom accommodations include a 
½ bath off the small bedroom, and a full bath with claw-foot tub off the large bedroom.  
There is also (you won’t believe this one) an outdoor hot water shower, which 
everyone truly loves. Shower beneath the stars or below blue skies and luscious 
foliage, whichever you prefer.  Ample parking space is provided, and a lighted 
short path to the cottage.  

Vacation Rental Amenities

Owners supply bath towels, hand towels and face clothes.  
Plates, bowls, spoons, forks, knives, cups, toilet paper and paper 
towels are supplied by the owners.  
Cooking supplies (pots, pans 
and utensils) are also supplied by the owners.  
Owners supply sheets, blankets, and pillows.
Television (only for viewing DVDs), stove top, oven, microwave, 
refrigerator with icemaker, fans, front porch with 
chairs, and a small propane grill complete this “little spot of heaven”.

Vacation Rental Rates

(2008): June 1st - October 5th.
             $1100-1300/week up to 4 people, additional $50 per person up to 8 people
             $300 security deposit 

Discounted rates are available for more than one week vacations.
10% discount for revisiting customers!
