Vacation Rental Description

  By popular demand, we no longer require that weekly rentals start
  and end on a Saturday.  We are flexible!

This is a choice vacation rental in a quiet La Jolla residential 
neighborhood just 100 steps from Wind 'n Sea Beach.  Condo is 
outlined in red at the bottom of the above-left aerial view.  In the 
same photo, the delightfully uncrowded sandy beach is near the top 
of the aerial view with the crystal clear blue-green Pacific Ocean 
at the very top.  There is no public parking nor are 
there beach concessions, so this wonderful neighborhood is quiet and 
the beach is always exciting for the youngsters and relaxing for 
those who come here for a restful break.  We also cater to the 
business traveler who needs comfort, bright pleasant surroundings, 
easy parking, central location and absolute quiet when the 
soundproof double-paned windows are closed, and who cannot get along 
without multiple high-speed (wireless) internet connections.

If you want the excitement of a bustling beach with boardwalk, 
Pacific Beach is nearby, and so is Mission Bay with sailing, 
playgrounds, and grassy picnic areas.

In the photo of our completely rebuilt building (above, right) The 
3BR 3BA condo is on the second and third floors, with private 
outside entrances for both the main living area and the very private 
penthouse.  The main level has a 10x20 secure balcony (center of the 
photo) with an ocean view, perfect for the children when they are 
not at the beach.  

The upper level of this condo is a penthouse suite with the 3rd 
bedroom, 3rd full bath, and its own private balcony with a stunning 
ocean view.  The penthouse balcony cannot be seen from the street or 
in the photo above - all you can see is the top of the sliding glass 
door to the parlor.  The photo below on the left was taken from the 
balcony to show its ocean view.

Please note that the living quarters immediately above the garage 
are not part of the 3BR 3BA condo which includes the penthouse, but 
rather a 2BR 2BA condo that is rented separately with its own half 
of the garage - or when the entire building is reserved for larger 
groups who require 5BR and 5BA with sleeping for up to 14 guests.

Two off-street parking places are provided - one in the ground-level 
garage, and another in the driveway.

This condo was completely remodeled in 2005 with the comfort of our 
guests the primary consideration.

- Laptop computer with wireless high speed internet connection or use
  your own laptop either wireless or with my USB receiver
- 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, 1 queen sofabed
- 4 cable TVs, 2 DVD/VCR players, 2 CD/Radio stereos 
- 5 balconies total, 2 with ocean views - on front of building
- All linens, dishes, and kitchen appliances including new 
  dishwasher, new microwave, new range and oven, new cabinets.
- Local telephone, all utilities included
- Bicycles, beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie board
- Off-street parking, 1 place in garage and 1 place in driveway
- Private brand new coin-op washer and dryer in garage (shared with
  my other condo in the building)
- High chairs, playpen/crib, some toys - available on request
- Walls, ceilings, wall-to-wall carpets, and furniture have never
  encountered tobacco smoke

- Ride our bicycles on the uncrowded street right above the beach

Vacation Rental Rates

Off-season: $1700/wk, $275/day (3 night minimum) plus tax
June 4 to July 2: $2800 per week plus tax
July 2 to August 20: $3300 per week plus tax
