Vacation Rental Description

This brand new natural log post and beam structure is located on  
pristine Kootenay Lake. Our private location will make the perfect  
spot for your family vacation. 
 
Our accommodation has two rental floors that can be rented  
separately or together depending on availability. 
 
The main floor has over 1500 square feet and includes two bedrooms,  
a bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. While sitting back in this  
spacious environment you can enjoy the beauty of the hand peeled  
Douglas Fir logs.  The large deck overlooks beautiful Kootenay Lake  
with the high peaks and glaciers of Kokanee Provincial Park acting  
as its backdrop. 
 
The large suite on the upper level boasts vaulted ceilings with a  
large ridge pole and purlins.  This unit has one large master  
bedroom and a large living area with two futons.  It also has a loft  
for sleeping. This unit has a bathroom and a fully equipped,  
functional kitchen. The covered deck allows for a beautiful lake  
view and a fabulous view point for storms coming down the lake. 
 
Each unit has its own barbecue and includes satellite TV and High  
speed internet connection.  All linens are supplied although we do  
ask that you bring your own favorite beach towel. 
 
After a short walk to the private beach you will be able to relax in  
the sun or have a campfire to roast wieners and marshmallows. 
 
Boulder beach is a convenient holiday destination just 2 km from the  
longest free ferry ride in North America.  The Osprey connects the  
west and east shores of Kootenay Lake.  On either side you will  
find either fine dining or fast food spots to enjoy.   
 
If you are a golf enthusiast you have the choice of teeing off at the 
Riondel par three (10 km), or the world class Kokanee Springs golf  
course (5 km).   
 
A short scenic drive will take you to several interesting artisan  
shops where you can browse or pick up original souvenirs.  
Handcrafted artworks can be seen at Kootenay Forge, Weavers Corner  
and The Broom Factory while other local wears are on display in  
funky little shops along the way.  
 
If you are an avid fisherman or a first timer you can try your luck  
at catching Kokanee, Bull Trout (Dolly Varden), or a Gerrard Rainbow  
that can be over 30 pounds.

Vacation Rental Rates

Prime Time     -- $1500.00 per accomodation ( June, July and August ) 
Off Prime Time -- $1350.00 per accomodation ( September to May ) 
Add $10.00 per person per night for groups over 4 people. 
Reservation deposit -- $400.00 for each week booked
