The beautiful, secluded, lakefront cabin that we call Moosetracks
sits just feet from the lake, nestled in the wooded hillside. The
four season tranquil home sees its share of wildlife, as the name
suggests. The well appointed and newly furnished vacation home is
in an ideal location.
The 1500 square feet of warm comfort is surrounded in knotty pine,
comfortable furnishings, and new cabinetry. We have warm gas heaters
for the cool autumn nights.
You will find every convenience in the fully equipped kitchen, such
as; refrigerator, range, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave,
coffee maker, lobster pot, toaster, fans, and a grill.
It's an ideal lake home that is perfect for New England family
vacations, romantic getaways, or winter holidays. Enjoy the morning
sun glow on the lake from the picture windows or the balcony.
Discover ever changing colors as the rising shadows glisten over the
lake. This lovely vacation home offers magnificent views of the
sunrise and romantic susets. The lake, forest, and mountain cast
amazing, magical reflections of glowing reds and gold tones upon the
pine ceiling and walls. The spacious living area, with its cathedral
ceiling, skylights, and picture windows, frame the lake and
landscape.

We had a wonderful time at Moosetracks. It was lovlier than we had
anticipated! The loft was beautiful and the cottage exuded warmth.
It felt so much like the way we view "Maine" and we were so sorry to
leave. We actually were going to leave late on Friday night to avoid
the Massachusetts Turnpike traffic, but decided to stay over, and
face the next day's traffic because it was so hard parting with that
piece of heaven!
The lake, the cottage, the silence!, the trees, blueberries, fresh
water spring, fishing, canoes, and kayak were, in combination, almost
more than we deserved!
I can honestly say that this was the nicest cottage we have been to
in Maine and we have been visiting different areas every summer in
Maine for years, each time renting cottages (rarely renting the same
one twice).
We met one of your neighbor's who used to vacation in the area often
and loved it so much that they decided to buy there!
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to visit Moosetracks. Best
Regards,
Joae and Joanne McD.

We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful cabin. It was
like being in the Hilton of cabins. We explored an awful lot and the
cabin was a perfect jump off point. Jimmy had concerns about
drinking the mountain water and suggests that you let everyone know
to pick up water if they aren't comfortable with drinking the water
out of the spring. The paddle boat was a blast and the fishing was
pretty good too. Jimmy caught 5 pickerel and 1 bass. We navigated
the blueberry barrens with a GPS and a map from Rt. 1 to Rt. 9,
visited Lubec and Campobello, Bar Harbor, Acadia and the coast around
Columbia and Milbridge. The weather couldn't have been better. You
have a piece of heaven up there. Thanks for sharing it with us.

We absolutely loved the Moose Tracks house. We saw a bald eagle from
the dock while we were fishing. There was a king fisher who showed
up several times a day to go fishing. At the scenic stop, we saw two
moose at a distance. Also we happened to see a red fox. It was
great to be at the house with the paddle boat, kayaks, and the
canoes. With four kids, its good to have lots to do at the camp. We
spent time playing the games and watching the Red Socks win on the
satellite T. V. Also it very close to many of the area attractions.
One day we went to the Cole Transportation Museum, WWII Memorial,
and Vietnam Memorial in Bangor. Another day we went to the
University of Maine in Orono. We also visited Bar Harbor and the
Acadia National Park. That trip was excellent and is highly
recommended. We are very interested in going back to the camp next
year because there are many things we would like to do.
Thank you very much for sharing Moose tracks with us.
