Words are difficult to find to describe this very special home that is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Northern California. Nevada City was made famous by the gold rush of the 1850s, but few people know how scenic and diverse this countryside really is. TuscanyGold is situated on a wooded lot one mile outside of town and contains a special blend of unique decorations and luxury accommodations. The master bedroom features a silk canopy over the queen bed and two baths (stone/tile show and private Jacuzzi bath). A second bedroom has been uniquely decorated with a child-like ambiance and features three single beds. A third bedroom and office are combined and features a futon, private bath and computer/printer with high-speed Internet connection, working desk and free long distance. A separate entertainment room is equipped with the latest surround-sound theater, advanced audio electronics and super premium cable package and gas fireplace. Four deck areas surround the house with one platform providing a six-person hot tub. A large playground jungle-gym is part of the property and there are patio tables with chairs on every deck, a BBQ, washer/dryer and three wood stove/fireplaces within.
TuscanyGold is close to many fun and entertaining things. First, we the city of Nevada City has many wonderful restaurants and unique shopping establishments. Down Highway 49 (follow Broad Street to the top where it terminates at the highway), you can find the rare beauty of the Yuba River. Nearby, Grass Valley features a wonderful historic district with many special shops and restaurants. The Empire Mine can be found off the Empire Mine Road exit just south of Grass Valley. It is open to the public most days and holidays.
There are many nearby golf courses in the Nevada City/Grass Valley area. By following Highway 20 east of town, you can connect to Highway 80 which takes you to the north side of Lake Tahoe in about one hour. Here, site-seeing and extraordinary scenery are available in both summer and winter. Sacramento can be explored to the southwest of our area in about one hour drive, which it offers many historic and metropolitan entertainment venues for your pleasure.
