Elegant Pool Home w/Hottub (1 block to beach) in Pompano Beach

Summer dates almost gone- check our calendar. Elegant yet comfortable beach home, with private heated pool & only 1 block to to the ocean

Our beach bungalow is designed to accommodate couples & small parties wishing to enjoy the beach and Florida weather in the privacy of a home setting w/ every amenity provided. The lush tropical private garden has a full size heated pool, hottub, garden swing & BBQ, sunning lounges, awning covered table/chairs, pool floats, bch chairs, etc so you'll need to pack only clothing. We've got the REST! The huge great room overlooks the pool/garden and sets you at ease the minute you enter.

We often enjoy "staycations" here ourselves, ;so we consider it our dream home and our goal is provide a vaction home to the discerning guests who are looking for something special and will appreciate it as much as we do. Every appointment has been made with loving care.

And best of all, you can walk one block directly to the beach (you can see the entrance from our driveway) and nearby - you'll find the Pompano Pier for fishing, the marina is w/ in walking distance for our guests w/ boats or wanting to rent jet skis, multiple restaurants, pizzaria and waterfront fare, for basic shopping, Walgreens and other shops are a few blks away and the local Briny's Pub is where good pub fare, music and company awaits! This home is where elegance meets comfort - we are honored to share it with considerate and caring guests.

The home has 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. The master suite has a king sleigh
bed, marble bath with roman tub(hand held shower spray), His/Hers closets (1 cedar), chandelier, pedastal sink, mounted Sony TV. DVD Player. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and TV/DVD/VCR. The 2nd bathroom has a shower/tub. The full service kitchen has corian counters, Subzero refridgerator,gourmet oven, dishwasher, and all dishes, pots/pans, serving ware, glasses,stemware and martini glasses, flatware, toaster, microvave, programmable coffe pot, coffee grinder, poolside entertaining plates/glasses and just about everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay from cookbooks, spices, to a blender for cool Margarita's, daiquiri's or Pina Coladas.

The very large great room has 3 sofas, (one queen sofabed), dining table (seats 6-8), piano, small guitar, 32" Flat Screen Sony TV with DVD/VCR,
digital DVR cable service, large DVD movie library, 5 disc CD player, CD's      (most genres of music), videos, games, books, travel books and local travel/restaurant info. We also have a closet filled with "in case you forgot" items, which for a reasonable price you can purchase (on the honor system). We also have a monitired security system (although unnecessary in this quaint seaside community). Your personal code will be added upon receipt of payment.

Pool/Patio area (outdoors)- sunning lounges, noodles, hot tub w/ small lighted waterfall, wood deck to sit around hot tub w/ built in cooler, chairs, umbrella, garden swing that converts to futon, BBQ Gas grill, 2 tables and many chairs to enjoy eating outside with awning covering for shade. We have buckets for shell collecting, boogie boards, umbrellas and most everything you need to enjoy the beach (blankets, cooler (small), bags, chairs, beach games, and tackle box for pier fishing.

Coffee, teas, sugar, spices are provided along with laundry soap, fabric softener, dryer sheets, dishwasher/ing soaps, hand and bath soaps. All toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, garbage bags are provided for length of stay. You really only need your clothing, toiletries and food. We've got the REST!

Additional amenities: MayTag Neptunevwasher/dryer, 3 TV's, DVD's (3), VCR (2), DVD's, videos, 5 disc CD player, portable CD boom box for bedrooms or pool side listening while you relax. Games and toys for most ages too! Hair dyers for each bathroom. All linens, bedding, extra large bath towels,etc. are plentiful and very comfy.

PLEASE, NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE-

We now have wi-fi internet access and printer available for a $20 per stay additional charge which includes free long distance to anywhere in the US or Canada, Carrib & PR. European world plan can be set up for $4.95. DVR cable TV service included as well.

Children are always welcome, however,our pool is NOT fenced nor the home baby proofed. As a family ourselves, we know there are children who have been around water most of their lives, but we cannot assume any responsibility for accidents, so please supervise children closely. Alarm system makes a small beeping sound when the doors open, so you will know if someone has opened the door. Safety pole is next to pool.

Walk to beautiful Pompano beach (one block), pizzaria, waterside dining, boat rentals, fishing charters, diving/snorkeling trips, pub, ice cream palor, Walgreens pharmacy, convenience store, Bank, ATM, fishing pier, and more. Nearby gourmet fresh fish market has freshest local fish, hair and nail salons, grocery stores(s). Pompano Harness Race Track and Casino Pompano Isle (newly renovated is 5 minutes west of I-95).  5 miles to public golf course (lighted holes for night golfing). Excutive Airport, 5 minute drive. Ft. Lauderdale airport is a 20-30 minute drive and elite Las Olas Drive with the finest restaurants and boutiques, is a short 15-minute drive. Ft. Lauderdale Beach Place is south on A1A approx. 10 minutes. Dania Jai-lai is nearby as well and provides for a fun filled exciting evening. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is about 30 minutes south. Broward Center of the Performing Arts is near Las Olas and they have Broadway Musicals/Shows during all seasons. Many restaurants have special dinner theater menus both pre and post show. As an alternative to the Ft. Lauderdale airport, try West Palm Beach 
airport which is about a 35-45 minutes drive and at times has discounted fares.
Since Pompano Beach is between Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton it is truly the best place to be to visit both. And should you want to explore Miami's South Beach, or dine at the world famous Joe's Stonecrab Restaurant, the drive is about 45 minutes south on I-95. The beautiful Florida Keys is a 2 -4 hour drive depending how far you'd like to go, but John Pennekamp Park, with it's snorkel trips and glass bottom boat trips is in Key Largo and could easily be a nice days trip. Key West at about 4 hours might require a night's stay, but is surely worth it! If you'd like to combine your South Coast visit with a visit to the Disney area, we have contacts there with homes all similar and will be happy to provide you with their web site. ( 3-4 hour trip). No matter your interests, there is always plenty to do or not to do depending on your mood.

Beautiful beach bungalow w/ all amenities all for the price of a hotel room.Amazingly reasonable! "Staycations" are perfect for local families needing a break. Call proprietor for exact quote.

All extended stays, i.e. multiple weeks or months receive DISCOUNTS
depending on lenghth of stay and season - please inquire  Discounts available this year for last minute bookings and off season dates as well as early bird bookings. Please inquire for quotes.

Although we strongly suggest weekly rates, we do offer nightly rates for fill in dates (minimum 4 nights)

This is our only rental home in Florida, (we do not have any others), so check the calander to save time in case we are already booked.  

Rates are based on 2-4 adults or 2 adults/2-3 children. Maximum # guests 5 adults (sofabed in great room) Holiday weeks are the same as Winter Season rates.

Rates are as follows:

Winter Season, November;15 - Apr 30th,  - from $1800 per week (US)/

nightly $275 per night, $300weekend nights/$6000 monthly

Spring/Early Summer, May - June 15th

$1300 per week/  $185 per night/$200 weekend nights/ monthly $4500

Summer - June 16th-Sept 10th, $1400 per week/ $200 per night, $220 weekend nights/monthly $5000

 
Fall-Sept 11-Nov 15th. (Off off season), $1050 per week, $150 per night, $175 weekend nights/ monthly $4000 

All rentals subject to state occupancy tax as required by law of 11%.

Normal Outcleaning fee - $100 to cover inside cleaning and linens/out door man who does pool,spa,grill, etc. Extended stay guests will have weekly cleaning for hot tub and back garden area.

$20 one time fee provides:  Wi-fi, Cable and DVR box, printer, and unlimited long distance in US and Canada, Carribbean & Puerto Rico  Service to Europe via World Connect can be set up for only $4.95.


No additional fees are added to utilize the pool and hot tub heaters, UNLESS electric bill exceeds normal usage based upon average charge.   .

Upon verbal or written confirmation of booking, a reservation package which is very detailed and explains all about the home and guidelines.
All rentals require a security deposit - ($750)-REFUNDABLE after inspection (returned within 3 weeks of departure) OR Deposit can be HELD on credit card


50% reservation deposit is due upon booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. We accept Personal checks,Certified Checks,Visa, Mastercard.

Refunds are made: With 60 days notice of cancellation, &/or if the dates can be re-rented, see resv pkg for details. .
 

All guests (excluding children) must be at leat 25 years or older and
a copy of a driver's license and or passport must be included in the reservation
package page.

Daily or other domestic services can be provided at an additional
charge (assessed by cleaning lady seperately) if desired.
