Beach Vacation at Hacienda del Cuyo in El Cuyo

Hola Amigos!
Before you rent one of my beach houses, i would like to tell you a
bit about myself, the homes and where they are located.
I moved from Germany to Cancun 14 years ago and work in big
hotels...8 years ago i found 2 unpolished jewels on the beach of
Puerto del Cuyo and felt in love with the area.
We remodeled them in time and with patience to what became our and
others favorite hideaway, where it is possible to relax and enjoy
the beach and the warm climate. its away from the masses on a
beautiful quiet beach, only 1200 ft away from the main square of the
town, restaurants, bakery, church, internet, Golf cart rental,
Atw´s, etc....
The towns streets are all still pure sand, similar like in Holbox or
San Pedro Belize, and gives it a cozy and laid back feeling. The locals are
friendly, respectful and hospitable like in the other places you
visited in México..
Prices of the local stores are inexpensive and the goods are fresh.
My caretakers Cristian and Magally clean the house, help you out with
any other things you need and even cook for you.
Puerto del Cuyo is one of the few Mexican towns that has hundreds
and hundreds of coconut Palm trees on the beach and thru out the
village....
you may recharge your batteries in a hammock on the beachfront
terrace, visit Mayan ruins like Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, ..or
colonial towns. you can do as much or as little as you like...
The beach in Puerto del Cuyo is approx 29 km or 20 miles....sandy ,
no rocks and surrounded by palm trees, perfect for strolling along
and collecting seashells.
The water is calm and shallow, perfect for children.... with no
currents or undertow.
on the other side of the town is the freshwater lagoon of Ria
Lagartos with over 20000 pink flamingos.
From April thru October you will be able to swim with the giant
Whale sharks and Watch the big sea turtles laying their eggs in the
warm sand of Puerto del Cuyo.....

Hacienda Villa del Cuyo Beachhouse can be rented as 2 independent
apartments as well as the whole house.
The groundfloor sleeps up to 6 people and the Penthouse with Casita Maya  and Roofgarden sleeps 6.
adults. There is a masterbedroom with a kingsizebed, a sofabed and an upstairs palapa  maya with roof garden and spectacular views to the ocean and the lagoon on the backside of the house.

Activities: Mayan Ruins, flamingo-, bird-, whaleshark-, dolphin and seaturtle watching, caves, cenotes, colonial cities, markets, bullfights, etc.

Service upon Arrival: The Caretaker will receive you in the Villa and hand you over the keys. Please leave a 100 Usd deposit, that you will be refunded when you return them upon departure and when the house is left in the same conditions as you received it. On the first morning after arrival, we will serve you a Mexican Welcome Breakfast in your Villa. After that, join us on a 1 Hour Orientation Tour by Golf Cart in El Cuyo, its fun and you get to know where all the important things are that you need to know while you are vacationing in El Cuyo

Puerto del Cuyo is a typical laid back Fisherman's Village away from the crowds. If you are thinking about an eco-tourism adventure or weeks of relaxation and privacy near a ocean with turquoise greenish waters and white sand sprinkled with a beautiful variety of shells, which invite to explore and make long walks on the beach, Villa del Cuyo is an option you cannot miss. We invite you to walk the beach in front of the Villa in the morning, enjoying a brilliant dawn and during the evening you will be astonished to be able to enjoy a spectacular sunset on the same beach. This is one of the many advantages to stay at this Villa, as it faces the northern waters, spectacular dawns and sunsets can be watched.
