Before you book another unit, you should ask these questions.
Is the unit in the front of the building directly on the
beach/boardwalk?
Does the unit have a 14ft wide window with unobstructed views right
on the beach/boardwalk?
Does the unit have ocean views from every room except the bathroom,
and a private patio
with highend patio furniture right on the ground floor on the
beach/boardwalk?
Can you lie in the pillowtop bed in the masterbedroom and have the
view of the waves, Jacuzzi, and boardwalk, but also have privacy
because of
the special reflective/oneway glass on the 8ft wide window on the
bedroom wall and the side window?
Does it have a 9ft wide remote controlled moviescreen/shade that you
can watch TV/Movies in High Definition from the livingroom and the
master bedroom?
If the answer is no to any of these questions then you are settling
for a lower quality vacation.
The "SurfRider" is the most visually stunning condo building on
Mission Beach. It features the only
jacuzzi right on the boardwalk. This unit is the best in the building,
one of only two, out of
eleven in the building, that is right on the boardwalk on the
ground-floor. No stairs, No hassle,
Perfect!! A complete remodel finished November 2004 has put this
building on a higher plane than
other Oceanfront buildings. On the outside you'll notice the copper
roof, stainless
steel,glass,slate, and stucco in this form make a phenomenal
architectural statement. Once Inside,
floor to ceiling windows (one 14ft wide) with direct ocean views from
the living room, kitchen, &
master bdrm will captivate you. You might also notice the 42" plasma,
stainless
steel fridge,range/oven,dishwasher, and granite counter tops. But
what
really sets this place off is the view of the waves crashing into
your front yard beach, viewed from your private patio. My personal
favorite is lying in bed watching the 100" High Definition Projector
TV, then waking up in
the morning raising the projector screen/shade via remote from bed and
then
enjoying the view of the waves and the boardwalk traffic once again,
but they cannot see you due to the one way glass in the bedroom.
NICE!! This unit is one of only two out of eleven in the building
that is right on the boardwalk on the groundfloor. No Stairs, No
Hassle,
Perfect!!

People watching!!
Historic Belmont Park and Roller Coaster are just a few blocks south
along the beach. Numerous Restaurants and many shops are with
walking
distance for shopping and rentals, surf and boogie boards, bikes,
skates, jetskiis, kayaks, etc. Of course the World famous San Diego
Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Petco field, Seaworld, and Legoland are not
far either. There is also golfing, hiking, museums, fabulous malls
and sightseeing as well. But in reality you won't want to leave the
condo!
