Chalet Quietude - 3 Private Acres - Fantastic View in Asheville

Chalet Quietude is a quiet place. It is a cabin nestled in the
tranquil forest of the Blue Ridge Mountains on 3 acres with two views.
The surrounding land is vacant or undeveloped which adds to the
privacy. It's an easy drive (15 minutes) to and from Asheville,
North Carolina…12 miles. Directions to the cabin are simple and
once you're there, you’ll find it secluded and quiet. The grounds
are gently landscaped so as not to intrude on nature.

Tranquility is the first word that comes to mind when relaxing on
the deck and listening to the sounds of nature. When it rains, you
can hear the raindrops as they fall upon the leaves, flowers and
natural landscape. When the wind blows, be amazed by its gentle
whisper through the forest. When the sun shines, nature reminds us
of how wonderful life is as the birds sing and the quietude
surrounds us.

Chalet Quietude is so close to Asheville, you never really sense you
are leaving town. Yet, Chalet Quietude is just far enough to be
away from the city, in the mountains, and close enough for you to be
in the middle of all the festivals and fun in just moments.

Driving to the Blue Ridge Parkway (10 minutes), the Biltmore (20
minutes) or any other activity is easy. You will always feel you
are in the center of activity, yet when you want to escape, Chalet
Quietude is waiting for you, peacefully. It has become a romantic
get-away for many couples celebrating an anniversary, engagement
and/or birthday. A family retreat is also a popular reason to stay
at Chalet Quietude.

The chalet-styled cabin is comfortable and cozy, newly renovated and
decorated for your comfort. Plenty of windows to view the natural
beauty of the surrounding forest. A wood burning fireplace sits
proudly in the living area ready to create the beauty and warmth for
your winter vacation with us.

The furnishings were chosen to provide the utmost in comfort &
relaxation. The pillow-top mattresses, bed sheets & pillows are
luxurious & white for cleanliness. 3 bedrooms with king, queen &
twin beds sleeps 6 comfortably.

The kitchen is arranged for family cooking & conversation with a
dining counter built around the cook top. We permit smoking outside
only & cannot permit pets even though we love them. Children are
welcome with your respectful guidance.

We have 3 satellite TVs & high speed internet, a washer/dryer, hair
dryer, robes, flip flops and more.

Our hot tub is in the best possible place to relax with the wide
view of the valley & mountains. Sunsets & soaking in the hot tub is
the perfect end to a day of adventure & fun.

Minimum Stay Requirements:

Two-night minimum: Jan 5 through May 31 and November 1 through
December 20(exception: Thanksgiving).

Three-night minimum: June 1 through October 31

Four-night minimum: Thanksgiving week beginning Wednesday through
Sunday and Christmas week beginning December 21 through the New Year
to January 4.

Fees & Taxes: 

The cleaning fee is $100 per reservation.  A 2.95% processing fee will be assessed on the rent amount only, plus 6.5% taxes on the rent amount only.

Payment: 

We accept these credit cards:  American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover

50% of the rental fee and taxes plus 50% of the security deposit will be due at the time of reservation. See SECURITY DEPOSIT below. The balance of the rental fee, deposit and the $125 cleaning fee is due 28 days prior to check-in by credit card, personal check or money order. If sending a personal check, it must be received 35 days (5 weeks) prior to arrival date.

You are guaranteed a reservation when all paperwork is complete and the above fees are received and/or has cleared the bank.

If you are booking inside or less than the 28 day time frame, the entire rental fees, security deposit and cleaning fee must be paid. Credit card or overnight cashier’s check is the only form of payment in this time frame.

All reservations incur NC Sales Tax in addition to the rental amounts and any fees.

Security/Damage Deposit:

A security/damage deposit of $100 is required.  All security/damage deposits will be refunded within 1-7 days of departure provided the cabin is left in proper order and undamaged. Renters will be responsible for any damages or theft. See DAMAGES AND/OR THEFT in Policies and Requirements.
