River. This beautiful two story single family home has a
spectacular
mountain/river view. Large windows on the water side give a person
the feeling of being outside while sitting in the living room with a
fire in the fireplace.
Or sit outside and enjoy the fresh air that surrounds the area.
For those driving, we are located 60 miles south of Quartzite on
U.S.
95. Or from Yuma, North on 95 about 40 miles.
Yuma International Airport is located right in Yuma and has daily

The Lower Colorado River area is a mecca for water enthusiasts.
Fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking and pleasure boating are some
of the features of this area.
Jetboat and Paddlewheeler excursions depart from Fisher's Landing.
Ride the exciting Jetboat upriver 17 miles to Norton's Landing. Or
take a leisure Paddle boat trip down river to Imperial Dam. Both
historic tours are narrated and lunch is included.
5 minutes away is the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge. This
birding sanctuary is especially active during the winter months as
it
is a popular flyway for the migrating birds.
Excellent hiking trails are everywhere.
For the offroad adventurer there are many miles of remote desert to
be explored, as well as some old mining areas from the late 1800's.
The scenery is so diverse that photographers are delighted when they
come to this area. Catch a mountain/desert sunrise or sunset coming
across the water and your picture will be postcard perfect.
Nearby is the U.S. Army Proving Gounds. This is one of the most
active military parachute training areas in the world. Weather
permiting there is training most every day. January and February
bring the Golden Knights parachute team and they train here with
viewing for the public.
Just an hour away across the border is Los Algadones Mexico. This
popular shopping ,eating, and entertainment border town is within
easy walking distance from the parking area on the U.S. side. They
also have handicapped parking for those with disabilities.
There are many popular restaurants in Yuma including Applebees,
Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster, just to name a few. With a brand
new shopping center right near the freeway as well as Beautiful
Historic Old Town Yuma your shopping needs will be met easily.
Yuma also boasts two casinos in the area. Just a short drive south
of Yuma is The Cocopah Casino. Paradise Casino is just across the
river from Old Town. Both are open 24 hours and have full restaurants
and lounges.
