Vacation Rental Description

The Lost Spur resort ranch is a unique 116 acre facility that is  
available for short term rental (6 nights).  When you rent  
the ranch you have total occupancy.  No Maids – Cooks – Wranglers -  
Management personnel. 
 
“Crooked Creek” flows through the Lost Spur ranch.  
 
The Lost Spur ranch is totally your’s for the period of your stay.   
The Log Lodge will sleep 8 and every need to “eat – wash your  
clothes – shower – sleep” is provided. 
 
Just bring your “horses – food – clothes - fishing gear”. 
 
 

Vacation Rental Amenities

The Lodge 
 
The Air-conditioned Lodge features a Great Room with a fire place.   
A good place for fellowship or reading a good book.  Just off the  
Great Room is a full kitchen and a 12x54 ft covered porch with gas  
grill.  
 
Down the hall you will find the Master suite with private bath.   
There is a King bed, Love seat, Easy chair, large TV, Whirlpool tub,  
and a Fireplace. 
 
Down stairs there are two more bed rooms, with private baths, and a  
game room with a Pool table.  Each room has its own TV. 
 
The Lodge is warm and homey with good house keeping our priority. 
 
 
The Grounds 
 
There is 116 Acres with lots of room to ride Horses or to play out- 
door games.  There are picnic tables on the creek bank and a cook- 
out fire pit.  
 
 
“Crooked Creek” offers good “swimming – canoeing – "Blue Ribbon"  
Small Mouth Bass fishing".  
 
The Ranch has lots of room for romantic walks. 
 

Activities and Attractions

Horses 
 
There is lot’s of room to park your trucks and horse trailers.  We  
have eight 10x12 stalls in a semi-enclosed barn.  There is a large  
corral and miles of, seldom traveled, country roads for beautiful,  
peaceful, horse back rides. 
 
Best of all, you are sharing this time with your horse in the foot  
hills of the Ozark Mountains. 
 
 
Fishing 
 
A famous “Blue Ribbon”, Small Mouth Bass fishing hole,  
called “Crooked Creek” flows through the Lost Spur ranch.  Crooked  
Creek provides ample opportunity for Sport Fly Fishing or places to  
sit on the bank with a pole, sinker and a hook with a worm on it. 
 
If you choose to keep your catch there is a grill for cooking them  
on the large covered porch just off the Lodge Great Room. 

Vacation Rental Rates

Booking policies 
 
•	We book reservations using  Visa – MC – Discover 
•	We collect 50% with reservation 
•	We automatically bill your credit card for the balance 30  
days prior to arrival. 
•	You may cancel up-to 31 days before arrival with a $100.00  
administration charge. 
•	Cancellation 30 days or closer to your arrival will only  
have a refund (total or partial) if we are able to replace your  
reservation with another group. 
 
•	Making a reservation is your indication of your agreement  
with all our policies, terms and rates. 
 
 
 
Terms 
 
•	Horses – dogs – cats are welcome  (people too) 
•	Horses need up-to-date coggins filed with us before arrival. 
•	Dog and cats must have up-to-date inoculations.  Bring  
records. 
•	You are requested to keep your pets in a “pet carrier” or  
equivalent when you are away from the Lodge and they are left behind. 
•	Lost Spur will be rented to one group at a time. 
 
•	The Lost Spur ownership is NOT responsible for guest or  
animal “safety – health – personal property”.  
 
 
Rates 
 
•	Ranch rental:		Check-in Sunday 10am / check-out  
Saturday 12 noon. 
•	1 to 4 vacationers	$1750.00 per week (6 nights). 
•	5 to 8 vacationers	$150.00 per vacationer per week. 
•	Horses:		        $20.00 per night each 
•	Pets:			$20.00 per night each 
 
 
 
 
 
Cleaning fees 
 
•	Lodge:		        $90.00 
•	Pets:			$30.00 
•	Stalls:			$20.00 per stall  (refundable in two  
weeks, if left clean). 
 
 
 
Tax:				9% 
 
 
Security deposit:		$250.00  (refundable two weeks after  
departure unless there is damage).  Damages that exceed your deposit  
will be charged to your credit card.
