This hand-crafted log cabin is privately situated on 21 secluded
and heavily forested acres overlooking a large and noisy trout
stream. This authentic log cabin was built in 2005 and specially
designed just for rental guests featuring three bedrooms, two full
baths and sleeps eight comfortably (three queen beds plus one king-
sized bed). The spacious living area has a soaring 21 foot exposed
beam cathedral ceiling and native stack-stone gas log fireplace.
The setting is very, very private. The cabin is situated on
over 21 acres of dense woodland with distant neighbors (not in a
subdivision !) Folks often ask "what is private?" You could
literally operate a chain saw, shoot a gun or run naked through the
woods and nobody would care!!
Conveniently located is a deluxe 7 person 50 jet hydrotherapy
spa/hot tub with private access to a bath/changing area. Rustic
custom log furniture graces every room and the cabin offers central
heat and air. There is a fully furnished kitchen including
dishwasher, microwave and all utensils. Washer and dryer and local
phone service are provided at no additional charge. The cabin
offers two large covered porches with scenic views of the mountains,
forest and roaring West Buffalo Creek in an extremely private and
secluded setting. Hike these woods or the surrounding Nantahala
National Forest, catch your limit of trout in West Buffalo Creek or
just relax and enjoy clean water and air and the sounds of nature.

one king) and furniture, stacked-stone fireplace, custom made log

door for miles and miles on old logging roads in rugged mountain terrain.

Fishing, hiking, extreme mountain biking, unlimited four wheeling
right out the front door, the Cherohala Skyway is 4 miles up the
road, Santeetlah Lake is 3 miles distant, the Tail of the Dragon is
12 miles and the whole area is surrounded by Nantahala National
Forest. Close by is whitewater rafting, The Smoky Mountain Railway,
Cherokee Indian Res. and Casino, Biltmore House, Pigeon Forge and
Gatlinburg, cultural events and bluegrass at the Stecoah Vally
Center, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Appalachian Trail, Joyce
Kilmer Memorial Forest, lots of great motorcycling on beautiful
winding byways, all in a very scenic, laid-back setting.
