It's but a ten second walk to the safest & warmest waters of the
Pacific Northwest.  Vancouver B.C. is about 45 minutes away, Bellingham, 15 minutes, Seattle two hours.   Local delights such as the "C" Shop, which exhudes local Birch Bay charm and offers candy, ice cream, pizza, fresh bread and more, is a short walk.  Walk the opposite direction and you'll find CJ's seafood, Shores Restaurant and Tradewinds Cafe.

Seashell Cottage is located on one of the idylic little lanes in Old
Birch Bay, just off Birch Bay Drive, and has some of the best beach
access in Birch Bay. The cottage is full of vintage beach-y charm,
fully renovated with all the comforts of home. It's great for
single families or for small groups renting together.

Bedrooms flank either side of the cottage with the family room and
a large main open living/dining/kitchen area in between. Single story makes for
easy living for young or old. In the main bath, there's an old
fashioned clawfoot tub with shower. The large, vaulted master suite with comfortable queen size bed has its own bath with tiled, double head shower and heated tile
floor. Two of our bedrooms offer choice of king beds in each or twin beds, all with great mattresses. Two queen sleeper sofas are made by American Upholstery.  These are upscale, have thick mattresses, no bars underneath, not your standard sleeper sofa. 

A deluxe Whirlpool Washer/dryer and iron are convenient. A tiled
seasonal sunroom with second refrigerator/freezer leads to the
large, private, fenced yard. The patio, picnic table & a huge Weber
stainless BBQ are easily accessed from the sunroom and kitchen. 

Our guests receive free cinnamon rolls year round with their stay except for holidays.  Just let us know if you'd like fresh baked cinnamon rolls delivered and we'll be glad to order them for you. (Some advance notice required.)

January / February: $149 per night, 2 night minimum. $875 per week for the first 6 guests. $10 per night or $50 per week per additional guest.

March 1, 2013 - May 23, 2013 $195 night, 2 night minimum. $975 week first 6 guests. $12 per night or $60 per week per additional guest. 

May 24 - June 27, 2013: $1,500 per week, $285 per night, 6 guests, $15 per night per additional guest, $75 per week per additional guest.

June 28 - Sept 2, 2013: $1595 per week, $285 per night, 6 guests, $15 per night per additional guest, $75 per week per additional guest. July and August, we prefer a 3 night minimum unless space permits

Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's - $1125 wk, $225 night first 6 guests, three night minimum.  $15 per night per additional guest, $75 per week per additional guest.
