Twenty Yards to the Beach

Prince Kuhio Resort is small and quaint, about 20 yards from the beach.  Some of the best swimming, snorkeling, and surfing on Kauai are right out in front at Prince Kuhio Beach and Lawai Beach.  Hawaiian sea turtles swim close to shore and endangered Monk seals frequently rest on the sand.

The Tropical Breeze

You will enjoy the sound of the ocean, the birds singing, the tropical breeze, and the amazing sunrise every day from your lanai, which has a bar-height table and chairs so that you can fully enjoy this extraordinary setting.  On the other side of the resort there is a koi pond, waterfalls, and a large swimming pool surrounded by a lush, exotic, tropical garden with a picnic area and barbecue.

The Sound of the Ocean

Prince Kuhio Resort is so close to the ocean that you can hear the waves at night.  The condo is tastefully decorated with with island-style furnishings. Prince Kuhio 231 has a new king bed with Croscill bedding.  The kitchen is fully equipped with lots of extras: stainless steel cookware, wine glasses, utensils, appliances, microwave, electric stove, coffee-maker, coffee grinder, blender, larger mixer, baking pans, Tupperware, picnic ware and more.  Beach towels, hair dryer, iron and board, scale, and beach chairs are provided.

Dinner is served across the street at the popular ocean-air Beach House Restaurant, with views of Lawai Beach and the spectacular sunset.
