Loved the Pool and Proximity to Fantasy Island

I went with my wife and 3 children. They are all pre-teens, so you can guess we don't get out too much right now. The spot is great. You have the pool in the complex, so its safe for them to hang out and play and you can keep an eye on them from the kitchen area. As for the fun stuff - fantasy island is down the block.. rides, games, cotton candy. They also have a water slide and mini-golf. There are a couple great bars up on the corner as well that we snook out to. Viking village has great shopping and in eyes view from the home.

We had plenty to do and never got bored. As for the place, it was exactly as stated.. a model home.. all the furnishings were brand new, had crown moulding and a brand new kitchen. Can tell its been used just as rental and nobody has lived there.. it has that new home smell.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Ive stayed for the last 5 years. Owners are really nice people. The house is in new condition and right behind fantasy island.

The Owners are a Nightmare!!!!

The owners of this condo, are a nightmare. The place is not cleaned professionally and only gets a quick cleaning by the prior renters. The slip covers on the couch were all stained and the rugs were filthy. My wife and 4 children who were 4 and under decided to take a last minute vacation to LBI. This was going to be our first vacation as a family. A couple of days into our trip, we experienced an earthquake and the following week we need to evacuate the island, because a major hurricane was coming. So we packed up all our stuff and returned home to our house in Northern, NJ. The owner said they would work with us on a refund, but then contacted us after the island was reopened, informing us we would lose all our money. To make matter worse they would no longer accept our calls and did not return any message. So we left our damaged home up north with our 2 1/2 year old TRIPLETS and 4yr son and headed back to LBI. The sad part is you just can't trust anyone anymore and expect them to just do the right thing.
