Take a dip in the heart-shaped pool to cool off after a day in Kona, or invigorate you with a night swim. The back deck around the custom pool is surrounded by a wide array of fruit trees and tropical flowers including citrus, plumeria, red, white and blue ginger, bananas, mango, and papaya. The pool deck is another great dining area with a gas barbecue. Soak up the island sun, melt off the mainland ice and snow, grill up your favorite surf and turf items, enjoy some island ‘grindz’ and recharge your batteries at this very special and unique rental.

With over 3000 feet of living space available, including the covered lanai, spacious and tasteful only begins to describe your living, dining and sleeping quarters at The Kona Retreat. The upper lanai dining area is located outside off the living room overlooking the pool, ocean views, and the meditation gazebo. The island in the kitchen hosts seating around the main cook surface. The kitchen is open to the main entertaining area and is equipped to assist your culinary skills.

In the living room, you will find a huge very comfortable custom sofa! So comfortable you may not want to go out! Flat screen TV, DISH Network Satellite Service, and DVD are your video amenities.

FREE High-Speed Wireless Internet access is available to keep you in touch while you are away - surf the web while sunning at the pool, waking in your bed, or while sipping coffee in the kitchen. Just bring your laptop/notebook equipped for wireless. Just ask if you need more information.

We want you to have the best vacation possible, and we always take time to insure that everything is fresh and inviting, and are well maintained and updated. We strive to make sure that the yard and pool are ready and waiting for you.

This contemporary and green designed island style home was built to take advantage of the naturally occuring sea and mountain breezes that can change like clockwork during the island day. Room air conditioning and ceiling fans are available in the lower studio unit if breezes fade. The upper level has large jalousie window openings, 8' lanai doors, a 64 square foot copula opening in the ceiling, and ceiling fans to assist the natural mountain and ocean breezes.

We are available to help with any of your needs from suggesting restaurants and activities to filling the refrigerator prior to your arrival - just ask when you book your stay.

This flexible rental is designed to accommodate parties from 1 - 8, and the rates adjust based on the number of people in your party, and the number of bedrooms you need. 3 bedrooms plus the den is the standard configuration.

We also INCLUDE the cleaning fee in our rate!

The Kona Retreat is just three miles from Kailua-Kona and minutes from all of the activities the Gold Coast of Hawaii is famous for. The Kona Retreat is fortunate to be close to one of the few beaches on the Kona Coast - if you ever want to leave the pool and deck area!
