Vacation Rental Description

Our nicely furnished beach house is 1/2 mile from Scarborough Beach  
on a quiet street in the Eastward Look neighborhood. NO BEACH PASSES  
REQUIRED FOR SCARBOROUGH BEACH.  
 
Owner occupied for several weeks, we seek families that will take  
special care of our beautifully furnished vacation home during their  
stay.

The Gambrel colonial with cottage landscaping has four bedrooms, 
one and a half baths and off street parking for up to four cars. 
 
The main floor includes a living room with a plush, denim covered  
sofa and love seat, comfortable chair with ottoman and a rocker. TV  
with expanded cable and DVD and stereo is housed in a small  
entertainment cabinet. 
 
The large dining room can accommodate a group of 8. 
 
The full-size, fully equipped and completely updated kitchen has a  
small breakfast table and sliding door that leads to the patio. The  
kitchen has soft, denim blue cabinets, with custom touches such as  
recessed and under cabinet lighting, tile floor and tile backsplash.  
Lots of storage and counter space. 
 
A small bedroom with double bed, a half bath and a large laundry room  
off the kitchen complete the first floor. A one car garage while not  
available for parking guests cars can be used to store bikes, beach  
equipment and perhaps your kayak or canoe. 
 
The second floor has three large bedrooms with plenty of closet  
space. The master bedroom has a king bed, dresser, night stand and  
his and hers closets. There is also a second TV with cable  
service. The secondary bedrooms each have a queen bed, bedside table  
and dresser. A full bath with tub/shower and bead board walls  
complete the second floor. 
 
Our spacious yard has a patio table with comfortable chairs and an  
additional picnic table. An enclosed outdoor hot and cold shower is  
perfect for rinsing the sand off your toes, when you return to the  
house at the end of a great beach day. 
 
We provide a gas grill and lobster cooker that can boil up many  
lobsters at one time for a lobster feast! Use our beach cart to load  
up all your beach gear and make the walk to Scarborough an even  
easier one.  
 
One street over are tennis courts, basketball court and playground. 
 
OUR CALENDAR IS UPDATED REGULARLY. 
 
Our home is not appropriate for hosting large gatherings such as  
family reunions, hosting celebration parties or for groups of singles  
and our rental agreement prohibits such use.

Activities and Attractions

Narragansett is a great family vacation spot. Enjoy Scarborough  
beach on sunny days and feast on lobster at night. On the ocassional  
cloudy day, you can tour the mansions, browse the shops and have  
lunch in nearby Newport. Like the nightlife? Newport has that, too! 
 
Can't get enough shopping on your vacation? Visit Wickford Village,  
a quaint marina town for more shopping or visit the Narragansett  
Pier shops. 
 
Adventureland for the kids offers batting cages, minigolf, bumper  
boats for night time fun. Plenty of ice cream shops for those after  
dinner treats! 
 
Visit the Roger Williams zoo, take in a Pawsox game, take a cruise  
aboard the Southland and tour the local waters. Enjoy a ferry ride to  
Block Island (the ferry is only a 5 min. ride away) and spend the day  
riding bikes (or rent scooters) around the island. Fishing and  
sailing charters available in the Galilee area. Several golf courses  
within the area. Kayak rentals and tours available nearby, they offer 
sunset tours and even full moon tours. 
 
Lots of upscale or family restaurants and clam shacks nearby for  
those nights you just don't want to cook.

Refundable security deposit of $300 required. Refunded promptly after  
inspection. 
 
Following local custom, renters bring their own linens, towels and  
beach gear.Pillows & blankets provided. 
 
Renters must self clean to leave house in same condition as arrival.  
We provide cleaning supplies OR Cleaning service can be hired for you.

Renters flying into the area can be provided linens and towels.
