Vacation Rental Description

High speed internet access is now available.

The artist/owner has tastefully furnished his spacious, virtually 
identical, mountain-facing studio apartments at Lahaina Shores 
Beach Resort (units #624 and #520.) They are centrally air 
conditioned with individual electronic controls. The firm California
king size bed, along with the carpeted bedroom / living area, make 
these very desirable retreats. In each, the fully furnished kitchen, 
the bath and lanai (balcony) have been ceramic tiled. 

The kitchen is complete with full size appliances, a microwave, 
cookware, dishes and utensils. Plenty of linens and towels are 
provided. A glass top table and 2 chairs grace the lanai where 
you can view a panorama of the West Maui Mountains, painted 
by sun and shadow from first light 'til last, oftimes enhanced with 
a rainbow. 

Bring your own CD's! There’s a new CD/tape/FM stereo player. 
There's also cable TV with VCR. The direct phone allows free 
local calling and has an answering machine. There is even an
on-your-floor coin operated laundry facility. 

Next door, a Hawaiian Luau takes place six nights a week on the 
beach in front of a themed re-creation of an old New England 
whaling village. The boutique shops offer a myriad of unusual 
"finds," and there are four delightful restaurants just as casual 
as you are.

World class golf courses are nearby (think Mercedes Open.) Deep sea 
fishing and boating are available within walking distance at nearby
Lahaina harbor. An on-site activities desk can be very helpful in 
suggesting and arranging your "play" time.

Storied Lahaina, once the whaling capital of the world, was 
decreed a National Historical Landmark by the National Park 
Service on December 29th, 1962 (making it easier to believe 
you're in the United States, I suppose.)

Lahaina Town and the boat harbor are only 3/10ths of a mile 
walk (or ride) away.
