Vacation Rental Description

The Songbird Cabin is a beautiful red cedar cabin located on the 
Cornett-Deal Christmas Tree Farm near Boone, North Carolina. If you 
are looking for rest and relaxation, this is the vacation spot for 
you.  Or if you are looking for a great place to stay while visiting 
all our local attractions, the cabin is a perfect choice.  See the 
activities listed below.

Vacation Rental Amenities

 Songbird Cabin is furnished with 1 king bed, 1 full bed, and a 
queen sofa sleeper in the living area along with a futon. The kitchen is well equipped 
for all your cooking needs.  All linens are furnished along 
with a washer and dryer for your convenience.   Some of the special 
features of the cabin include a woodburning fireplace, a large deck 
with awesome view of Grandfather Mountain and Beech Mountain. You 
will also find a pool table, ping pong table and foosball table in 
the recreation area (basement)of the cabin.  Lots of fun for the 
entire family.  There are also snow sleds for your use while enjoying a 
winter vacation or weekend at Songbird Cabin.

Choose & Cut your perfect Fraser Fir Christmas tree during the 
months of November and December.  The Cornett Deal Christmas Tree 
Farm will be open beginning the weekend prior to Thanksgiving and for
the next two weekends. Call or e-mail for more information about the farm
and the Choose & Cut experience.

Activities and Attractions

Songbird Cabin is within 30-50 minutes of Appalachian Ski Mtn., Ski 
Beech, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, and Hawksnest Ski slopes.  The 
Roan Valley Golf Course (Mountain City, TN), Boone Golf Club, and 
Hawks Tail Golf Course are all within a 30 min. drive.  Other 
nearby attractions include Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, 
Horn in the West Outdoor Drama, Daniel Boone Gardens, Blowing Rock 
Stage Company, Appalachian Summer Festival,  Sugar Grove Music Fest, 
and the Barter Theatre (1 hr dr. to Abingdon,VA).  And for the 
outdoor lover, there are all kinds of creeks, streams, and trails to 
explore.  And for those race car fans, the cabin is a 60 min. drive 
to the Bristol Speedway. Also please remember that the beautiful Blue 
Ridge Parkway is just a short drive away and is a wonderful scenic 
drive spring, summer, or fall.  

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates for the Songbird Cabin are normally $1000 p/w or 150 p/n plus 
6.75% sales tax and 6% occupancy tax and a $75.00 cleaning fee.

winter months.
