Charming 1940's Tahoe Cabin in South Lake Tahoe

The cabin was built in the early 1940's in what was originally
called Frank Globin's "Al Tahoe". Mr. Globin was instrumental in the
development of the area. Globin's Hotel was situated at the end of
Alameda Ave. and Sacramento Ave.
Numerous summer cabins completed the community. Our cabin has been
in the family for over 50 years. We love the relaxed atmosphere it
offers. We are a short three block walk to pristine Lake Tahoe. The
cabin is ideal for a family, honeymooners, couples or a quick
weekend getaway.

The cabin has original knotty pine ceiling and paneling, pine
hardwood floors, gas fireplace, 1940's bar and stools, two bedrooms
and a sleeping hall. One bedroom has a queen bed. The other bedroom
has a queen  and twin. The sleeping hall has a twin bed. Linens
are provided(flannel sheets in the winter time), cable TV, DVD,
stereo, remodeled bathroom with tub and shower in a
mountain motif, and a state of the art new kitchen with all of the accouterments.
The property offers off street parking for maximum of two cars, a large fenced yard, huge deck with picnic tables, BBQ, chairs and umbrellas.

Centrally located, two miles from Heavenly Ski Resort, five minutes
to casinos, one block to ski/bike rentals and bike paths, boat
launch, one block to Sprout's Cafe (health food), Rojo's
Restaurant,Rude Brothers bagel/coffee house, video rentals, coin
operated laundry, bank, several grocery stores near by, library, ice
cream shop, four blocks to Tahoe Museum, public recreation center,
ice skating rink, and Chamber of Commerce. A quick three block walk
to the most beautiful lake in North America.

A $70 nonrefundable cleaning fee and 10% occupancy tax are included

NOTE: Holiday rates apply for Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day,

This is a non-smoking cabin. Smoking is allowed outside. Please
deposit cigarette butts in the garbage.
