This charming, lakefront home is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac with
a private cove. It's surrounded by tall trees on Virginia's second
largest lake. This well-equipped home is the perfect place for your
family vacation.
The large deck is perfect for an evening get-together around the gas
grill with your favorite beverage -- catching every gorgeous minute
of sunsets. You can sip your morning brew on the full-length front
porch which is equipped with comfy wooden rockers.
The fire pit near the water is the place to toast your marshmallows
and fix your s'mores. The lakeside deck is a great place for a
picnic. You can swim off our pier, or head to the nearby state park
and enjoy their huge beach. You can also test your skills at the
provided Horse Shoe Pit on the front lawn.
And if the weather turns wet, don't worry,we've got a junior foosball table,
darts,board games,Satellite TV and a simply outstanding DVD collection,
all in the comfort of a dry, cozy house.
The community boat launch is around the corner and free of charge
during your stay.There are many full-service marinas, boat
and jet-ski rentals in the immediate vicinity.
If you come in the fall/winter, you can enjoy leaf peeping and a
cozy night around the fireplace with no city noises to distract you.
This home is situated about an hours drive from Washington DC, Richmond,
Charlottesville, the Shenandoah Mountains, and the Blue Ridge
Parkway. Winery tours, historical sites, battlefield parks, and lots
of antique shopping opportunities are available within minutes.
