Palomar Mt. Retreat in Julian

Looking for tranquility? Relax in this 1800+ sq. ft. 2 story vacation
home near the summit of beautiful Palomar Mountain in north San Diego
County. The house is situated on a very private wooded acre with a
view of the Pacific from the second story deck which surrounds the
house on 2 sides. The house can accommodate up to 8 guests with 2
bedrooms, a sleep sofas and 2 baths. For larger groups, the loft can
be opened. It has a king size and single bed and a half bath, thus
sleeps another 3 guests. There is a county park a short walk from this
property. It is a short drive to Palomar Mt. state park and the
world famous Palomar 200 inch telescope (viewing 10 AM-4:30 PM daily).
The house is conveniently located for travel to Julian(~30 min., Lake
Henshaw(~15 min.), two Indian casinos (Harrah's, Pala and Valley View
20-30 min.)
home is a 90 min. drive from San Diego and a little over 2 hours
drive from LA.

Everything except your toothbrush, clothes and food you want to cook.
The house has every amenity to make your stay conformable and
enjoyable. There is central heating, fans, satellite TV with digital
surround sound receiver, VCR and DVD. Also a desktop computer with
Satellite Hi-speed internet access via phone line. There is a laundry
room with washer,
dryer and iron. The kitchen has stove, refrigerator/freezer,
microwave, dishwasher, disposal and wet bar. There is a gas barbecue
and patio table with chairs on deck for outdoor dining.
All linens, dishes, glassware and cooking utensils are supplied.
You must take your trash.
Guests should bring there own food and beverages. But welcome to 6
trays of ice.
There is a general store and a vegetarian restaurant available for
late breakfast, lunch.

Relaxing, sky viewing, hiking, fishing at Lake Henshaw, gaming,
restaurants, and entertainment at nearby Harrah's, Valley View and
Pala casinos, and during intermittent winter snows, sledding and snow
boarding.
