Vacation Rental Description

The lakehouse is a year round family home, located at waters edge on 
the east shore of beautiful Cayuga Lake on a secluded, private road 
with 65 feet of level lakefront property.  We are 6 miles south of 
Aurora and 20 miles north of Ithaca near Longpoint Park. Our new 
boat hoist can handle a 19 ft boat.

The oversized windows offer beautiful views of the lake from every 
room. The great room has a cathedral ceiling, ceiling fans for 
cooling and a wood burning fireplace for chilly nights. The kitchen 
is fully equipped. There are three entrances to the deck from the 
great room.  Lattice screen shades the picnic table. There is a gas 
grill and cedar setee.

The three bedrooms are large. The master bedroom (queen)and guest 
room (double) and bathroom with vanity,tub/shower are on the main 
level.  The huge loft has roof windows, ceiling fans, twin beds and 
a couch. 

You can swim in the lake, fish from the dock or watch the sunset 
from your lounge chair.  There is good fishing from the dock, this 
area is known for prime bass fishing.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The house is comfortably furnished. The kitchen is equipped with
electric stove, refrigerator, electric coffee pot, toaster, 
microwave, pots and pans, dishes. The tap water comes from the lake 
well, it is suitable for most purposes but is not used for 
drinking.  Five gallons of bottled water is provided. Linens, 
towels, pillows and blankets are provided. Local phone calls are
included. There are books, games, a radio/CD player and small DVD 
player. Guests bring toiletries, personal items, food.

Campfires can be made in the firepit.  There is parking for two 
vehicles on the property.

Policies:
This is a quiet, comfortable, modern family home
We don't do weddings, reunions or large gatherings
We don't have maid service but cleaning supplies are provided
No trash pickup on this private road, it is carry in and carry out
(i.e., you will need to dispose of your trash)
Honoco Road speed limit 10 mph
We can't accomodate pets
This is non-smoking home

Vacation Rental Rates

Rental Rates:
* $950 - $1350 per week Memorial Day through Labor Day
* $750 - $1050 per week September - May
* Longer periods of time negotiable
* $100 deposit not refundable
* Half reservation payment due with returned/signed rental contract
* Remaining half of payment plus $300 security deposit due one month
  prior to arrival
* Security deposit returned approximately 30 days after departure
  (pending no additional cleaning, damages, or long distance   
  telephone charges)
* Rental from Saturday to Friday
* Check in: Saturday 3pm
* Check out: Friday 12noon
