Spectacular views of Honolulu, Waikiki, and Diamond Head are seen
from this beachfront home, located on Oahu's south shore, opposite
side of Pearl Harbor from Honolulu. In the evening, you can view
both the lights of the city and the stars in the sky with equal
brightness from your private deck.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath house which is called THE EWA MOON is located
in the village of Ewa Beach, which is famous in song (Ewa Moon) for
its yellow moon. The master bedroom with attached bathroom has a
Queen bed, the Green Room has a Queen bed, and the Oriental room has
2 twin beds. The house is approximately 1250 sq. feet. The house and
surrounding area have the feel of Old Hawaii and appear to have
stood still in time. Tall coconut trees sway in the breeze, as you
stroll along the beach. There are local fisherman who cast off the
shoreline and spear fish in the reef. Local children ride and frolic
in the gentle waves. If you want a flavor of the real Hawaii, you
have it here! You may be lucky enough to see an occasional luxury
liner pull up in front of your house, sparkling with lights in the
evenings to partake of the views you also enjoy. Turtles also
frequent the area and you may catch glimpses of them close to shore.
Ewa Beach has more sun than any other part of Oahu, and it's always
warm!

The home is decorated to reflect Hawaii of the 1940's and 1950's
when tourists came on the Matson Cruise ships aboard the Lurline to
the Aloha Tower. Furnishings include vintage Koa and rattan pieces.
This is the first level of a two story house. You occupy the first
level, built several years ago while retaining the architecture
of the original home. Your own entrance is through double French
glass doors. You have a large covered verandah facing the water,
perfect for soaking in the sounds and smells of the ocean as you sip
your morning coffee or enjoy a leisurely meal.

We have another beachfront rental called THE HULA MOON which is the
second floor, above this unit.
The second floor is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath house with a large open deck
with gorgeous views of the ocean and distant view of Diamond Head.
It is also decorated in vintage Hawaiian furnishings. Please email

units can be rented for larger family/friends getaways, up to 12
people!

Just 15 minutes away is the popular Waikele Outlet Shopping Center,
frequented by tourists from all over the world. Some of the famous
stores include Levi's, Villeroy and Boch, Mikasa, Saks Fifth Avenue,
Big Dog Sportsware, IZOD, Oshkosh, Polo Jeans, Anne Klein, Vans
Shoes, Local Motion, and many more!

The best beginning surfing on Oahu is found here. You can fish from
your front yard, sun on your sun deck, or have a picnic beneath your
shade tree. You are three to five minutes from six golf courses,
including the Hawaii Prince Golf Course! This getaway is ideal if
you want to avoid mega resorts and tourist ridden areas.

Each level of the two storie beach house sleeps up to six.

The Ewa Moon (downstairs 3 bedroom 2 bath) is $1550 a week for a
maximum of 6 people, including children and infants. 2009 Christmas
and New Year rate: $2065 a week (max 6).

The Hula Moon (upstairs 3 bedroom, 1 bath) is
$1400 a week for a maximum of 6 people, including children and
infants. 2009 Christmas and New Year rate: $1860 a week (max 6).


Two levels, the whole house, sleeps 12, $2950 a week. $150
departure cleaning fee for each house plus tax. Refundable $350
damage deposit for each house.

Daily rate $252-Hula Moon, $280-Ewa Moon, $532-Hula Moon and
Ewa Moon with a five night minimum. Shorter stays are possible if
dates are between bookings.
