About us: our family group ranged in age from 14 to 77, and we found something for everyone. My mother in particular, who doesn't do so well with lots of stairs, was grateful for everything being on a single level, after one short flight of steps up the porch.

The property was clean and well-maintained, all amenities as advertised. The Scripture quotes in the kitchen, family room and master bedroom made us feel right at home. The hot tub temperature set at 100 degrees was just right and enabled us to soak for as long as we wanted.

The view from the porch -- lush hillside with barn and cows -- was uniquely bucolic and relaxing, and certainly a break from the almost cliched views available elsewhere, of rows and rows of mountains rising up to meet the sky and disappearing into the clouds.

This is a comfortable home in an out-of-the way location, away from the touristy hustle and bustle. If you truly want to get away from it all, you can't do any better than Haven of Rest.

The owner was a pleasure to deal with, gracious and kind. I would definitely rent from him again.

Recommended for: age 55+, romantic getaway

Equipped, Clean and Comfortable

We had a wonderful time in your house. It was perfect for our needs. I have never been in a rental house before that was as well equipped, clean, and comfortable. We had plenty of seating and plenty of floor space to “play.” We all enjoyed the hot tub, some of us several times. Sleeping arrangements were great. The house couldn’t have suited us better!

We will surely be hoping to rent from you again! The house, and you, are a pleasure! Anne Marie
