Vacation Rental Description

This recently remodeled and charming cottage is located 1/2 block from the beach in the heart of Old Town Seal  
Beach.  The unit is 1,000 square feet, each bedroom has a queen bed, cozy living and dining area with french  
door, and the living area extends outside onto your porch and patio. 
 
You will immediately be welcomed into this friendly neighborhood with warm smiles and cheery hellos. A short  
walk up the beach you will find our most famous local landmark, the Seal Beach Pier, built in 1908. Walk just a  
couple blocks up to Main Street and find restaurants for all tastes and pocketbooks, clothing and gift boutiques,  
art galleries, and other local gathering places.  
 
There are many community activities during all times of the year, especially in the summer months. Enjoy  
the weekly Farmers Market in Alamitos Bay, the summer concert series at the pier, annual antique car show and  
kite festival. The grunion run can’t be missed during the spring and summer on the nights of each full and new  
moon. Old Town Seal Beach also has a number of different parks and green space areas for a leisurely stroll,  
throwing the baseball around, or just sitting on a bench to do a bit of people watching. Also close to Whole  
Foods Market, the city pool, baseball diamond, marina, dog park and dog beach.  
 
If you’re seeking rest and relaxation with a little sun and surf, then you won’t stray far from home. The beach is  
a ½ block out your front door. You can build a sand castle, fly kites, boogie board, go surfing, pick up shells, or  
our personal favorite, just take a nap in the warm sun. Yet if you’re looking for other activities this small town  
feel is easily within reach of the big city and all it has to offer. Los Angeles is only 22 miles to the north where  
you can attend a game at Staples Center or Dodger Stadium, a concert at the Nokia Center or Disney Hall, or  
soak up some local history at Olavera Street. Likewise, the heart of Orange County is at your back door with a  
short 30 minute drive to Disneyland or California Adventure, Knott’s Berry Farm, and of course the best  
shopping centers in Southern California. You may also want to visit other famous beaches in the area, the local  
bird sanctuary, or explore miles of bike routes and paths.  
 
Whether you are visiting for a romantic getaway, a stress free break, or a fun filled family vacation Seal Beach is
