Bar Harbor, Maine, on Mt. Desert Island; a very short walk down the
hill to downtown Bar Harbor in one direction and up to the Duck
Brook Bridge entrance to Acadia National Park in the other. A
perfect home base for touring Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National
Park.

Nice wooded suroundings, cathedral ceiling, spiral stairs to loft
bedroom with queen bed; new queen sleeper sofa in the cozy living
room as well as a charming cushioned window seat. Lots of windows,
very bright but private, deck with gas grill overlooks Eddie Brook.
Full kitchen with all new appliances, icemaker fridge. Beaded-board,
tiled bath with shower. Bamboo floors, wood paneling. No pets, no
smoking.

The Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park area is an outdoor
enthusiast's heaven, with hiking and biking trails, carraige roads,
mountains to climb and the rocky Maine coast to explore. Bar Harbor
offers many restaurants, bike and kayak rentals and tours, historic
downtown walking tours or bus tours of Acadia, sports outfitters,
and lots of quaint shops to brouse, all within easy walking
distance. Be as active or relaxed as you wish, it's all available in
a wonderful setting like no other.
