Vacation Rental Description

This charming house was renovated top to bottom in 2007 
and has all new appliances. Direct frontage on East Branch of 
Westport River with its own beach. Down a long dead end road and 
private lane, it nestles next to a large beef and cattle farm and 
offers signature views of a salt water farming life that has 
disappeared elsewhere. Launch your boat from the beach. Bicycle to 
Horseneck Beach, Bayside Restaurant or Westport River Vineyard. 
Kayak, canoe or sail past osprey nests to Back Eddy Restaurant and 
Westport Harbor.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Large porch with gas grill. Lawn runs to beach. Kitchen has new 
cabinets and appliances, with all the usual amenities. Baths have 
European tiles and new fixtures. Master bedroom with king bed and 
private porch overlooking river and farm. Two more bedrooms with two 
twins each, with river, sand dune and distant ocean views. 

Activities and Attractions

Property is located on the East Branch of the Westport River, one 
half mile from Westport harbor and one mile from where the river 
empties into fables Buzzards Bay. This is farm country along river 
and ocean, the last in the Northeast. Farmers markets, roadside 
stands, vineyards and fish markets put you in direct contact with 
those who raise or catch the produce that will will eat that night.
