Turtle View in NW Bradenton minutes from Anna Maria Island in Bradenton

Turtle View is our beautiful fully air conditioned 3 bedroom, 2 Bathroom, heated pool home in the much sought after area of North West Bradenton.  Turtle View is situated on a quiet deed restricted, no through road in a small residential area called Sunset Estates so there is no through traffic, just homeowners and their guests.  Sunset Estates is around a 5 minute drive from the sun drenched, white sands and warm turquiose seas of the beaches of Anna Maria Island and Long Boat Key on the Gulf Coast of Mexico.  Turtle View is also within a 15 minute walk of De Soto National Park and the beautiful beaches of the Manatee River where it joins Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico with Robinsons Preserve just around the corner.  Turtle View is furnished to a very high standard and is lovely, clean and comfortable throughout.  The en-suite bathroom has been RE-MODELLED AND RE-TILED IN APRIL 2011 to keep it fresh, clean and modern.

Outside, at the rear, you will find a large private fenced lanai with child security fence around the swimming pool.  The child security fence can be totally removed if you prefer.  There are also two outdoor ceiling fans which are fixed to the lanaii celing to keep you cool whilst you sip your beer or margarita.  There are plenty of outdoor seating areas with comfortable loungers for sunbathing by the pool along with chairs and a table for alfresco dining.   This all looks over the beautiful lake, trees, plants and wildlife - just so peaceful and relaxing.

To the front of Turtle View you will find a lush green garden with plants and palm trees, a driveway to the attached double garage and a seperate pathway to the front door.

The front door opens into a welcoming entrance hall, which itself follows through to a lounge area.  The lounge has Cable TV, DVD player with a selection of films, a  TELEPHONE WITH FREE LOCAL CALLS and WIRELESS ROUTER for internet access - you will need to bring your own laptop to take advantage of the router.   You will find plenty of comfortable seating along with side tables, lamps and pictures making Turtle View very homely.   From the lounge there is direct access through sliding patio doors to the pool and patio area.    

The kitchen has a stove and grill, large American fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a waste disposal.  There is also a table and chairs along with a further sliding patio door, again giving access to the pool and lanai.  There are plenty of pots, pans, glasses, crockery and cutlery

There is a laundry room with a washer and seperate dryer with internal access to the attached double garage.

There is also an additional dining area with table and chairs over looking the front garden.
There are three super bedrooms, ALL WITH CABLE.  Firstly a spacious Master Bedroom with American King size bed and FLAT SCREEN Cable TV.  There is also fully stocked books shelves for our guests to use.  This bedroom also has the additional benefit of having direct access through sliding patio doors to the lanai and swimming pool.  There is a fabulous en-suite and large walk in closet.  The Queen bedroom has mirrored glass fronted closets and Cable TV and is a front facing room.  The third bedroom has twin beds, mirrored glass fronted closets and cable TV - this room overlooks the gardens at the rear of the house.  There is a further bathroom with bath and shower over.

Turtle View is a lovely home that we use for our own holidays so we try to make sure that everything anyone would need is there.  All the furniture is modern and comfortable and well kept.  The floors are tiled throughout in a clean cream with the exception of the bedrooms which are carpeted. 

Nearby facilities provide something for everyone, including Golf courses, Crazy Golf, Robinsons Preserve, De Soto National Park, Ten Pin Bowling, Cinema, Boat and jet Ski Hire, Parasailing, Fishing, Tennis, Walking, Sun Bathing, Scuba Diving, Dolphin and Manatee watching, Moat Aquarium, Numerous Resturants banks and Shopping Malls.  The restaurants on the islands are fantastic - you are welcome day or night with your sandy feet and flip flops!  To watch the sun set whilst sat on the beach is not to be missed and its free, its incredible.  TURTLES nest on the Island so during the nesting season (June, July and August) you will see small cordoned off areas which are protecting the Turtle Nests.  It is a serious crime to interfere with a Turtle nest.  There are nightly meetings by the nature groups that ensure the safety of the newly hatched turtles provinding a pathway for them so they reach the sea and also excavating recently hatched nests for scientific data.  Everyone is welcome to these nightly meetings.  We have sat many a night by a soon to hatch Turtle nest but up to now we haven't been lucky, there are worse places to sit and wait than on a wonderful Island like Anna Maria. 

To the North and Tampa is approximately 1 hours drive away, with Clearwater and St Petes a short drive over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.  This drive alone is great as you can pull over and take in the most amazing views and watch the fishermen bring in their catch.  To the South and Sarasota is approximately 25 minutes drive away.  Orlando is to the East and is around 2 hours drive away.

Pool heating is charged extra at $140.00 - only really needed Nov-Apr.
