Harbor View-Downtown Gig Harbor in Gig Harbor

The house is a 1950's style, daylight basement bungalow on the
waterfront of Historic Downtown Gig Harbor. It is furnished with
1950's period furniture and accessories (except for a 60 inch big
screen TV and Home theater with 40 DVDs). It is an almost level, 3
block walk to the shops, galleries, and restaurants of Gig Harbor.
The house is situated right at the inlet to the harbor, so you are a
stone's throw from every boat in and out of the harbor, with a view
of Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound. The house has two floors, each with
one bedroom with queen bed, one bath, Cable TV, linens, and covered

The upper floor has a panoramic view of the entrance to the
harbor, Puget Sound, Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, and Mt. Rainier.
It has a full kitchen with utensils, 1 bedroom with queen bed,
1 full bath with tub, washer and dryer. It also has a new larger
outside deck with dining area, sleeper sofa in the living room,
and dining area. ( Top two photos below and bottom bedroom)

The lower floor can be used as a separate living area (for 2nd couple
or children) has a narrowed, water level view of the inlet into the
harbor and a Mt. Rainier view. It has a separate entrance from outside,
inside stairs to upper floor, bedroom with queen bed, living room,
new concrete covered patio with lighted dining/chat area. Kitchen sink,
refrigerator, microwave, and a bath with shower. (middle 2 photos below)

The town of Gig Harbor is located about 10 miles west of Tacoma,
Wa., across the Narrows suspension bridge off Highway 16. It is a
quaint,waterfront town with many shops, galleries, and restaurants.
From the house you can walk the beach, walk to town, or do day
drives to Mt. Rainier National Park or Olympic National Park,
Seattle, Tacoma, or the Historic towns of Poulsbo and Port Orchard.
There are boat rentals in the harbor and fishing, hiking, camping,
and mountain climbing nearby.

Walking, Boat rentals, Fishing, Golf, Shopping, Fine dining and
local casual restaurants. Visit many local unique galleries and gift shops,
Day trips to Mt. Rainier or Olympic National Parks, and other scenic/ historic
places.

Or just relax at the house and watch all kinds of boats go slowly
past the house within 100 feet(Even an occasional seaplane or
historic sailing ship)on their way in and out of the harbor. You can
also see eagles, waterfowl, and seals from the house.
