the Craftsman-inspired Stillman Building, Plaza View houses visitors
amidst the friendly commerce and activity of Arcata's lively town
center. The heart of our community is the Plaza, home to such
colorful celebrations as Saturday Farmers Market, Arts Alive, Oyster
Festival, Kinetic Sculpture Race, Pastels On The Plaza, and the North
Country Fair.

This is a bright and cheerful space with high ceilings, skylights,
and glass doors leading onto the balcony. Plaza View Stay's owner,
an ardent traveler, has appointed the suite with exquisite
accessories and art gleaned from around the world. Here, guests may
indulge in the artful and eclectic design elements combined with
whimsical art, sumptuous furnishings and linens, and a multitude of
thoughtful amenities.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, side tables with reading
lamps, walk-in closet, and an attached bath with tub and shower
combination. The second bedroom has twin beds, two walk-in closets,
and an attached bath with a stall shower. The kitchen is fully
equipped and is adjacent to a dining area with a large farmhouse
table. Separating the two bedrooms and baths is the living room with
an antique entertainment armoire, comfy sofa, art-glass lighting, and
a gas fireplace to warm a chilly evening. A door in the living room
opens onto a balcony which overlooks the Plaza, has a patio bistro
set, and fountain. Enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of fine Humboldt
wine while people watching from the balcony.

Plaza View Stay is aself-housekeeping two bedroom apartment.  A sofa bed can sleep two additional people. It is an ideal choice for friends or families traveling together who need separate private sleeping arrangements. It also can be shared by two parties (i.e. business colleagues), with the kitchen, dining,
and living room used as common areas and each bedroom with bath en-
suite lockable as in a bed and breakfast inn or guesthouse.
