A haven for photographers, artists, aturalists,widerness paddlers, writers, amateur astronomers and fishermen of all ages.Quality, properly equipped offshore kayak rentals delivered by local vendor at very affordable rate. Early July to late October fish for striped bass by kayak or just enjoy exploring the cove by canoe for the pure pleasure of it. miles of beautifully groomed island trails including those right
here at Cove Meadow. Skate on quiet ponds. Ski or snow shoe along
ocean side trails. In summer, Island Country Club with open
Golf and Tennis a near neighbor; May to October galleries, antique
shops, artist studios, elegant shops and fine restaurants all
minutes away; many wildlife and scenic tours by boat available.
Winter is beautiful here -wonderful skies and sunsets. a stark
simplicity and purity The most spectacular and floral time on the
island is from May 15 through July 1 with lupines peaking Mid-late
