Vacation Rental Description
This cottage is located just a short 3 minute walk from a private association beach in the Sandy
Neck Beach
area of East Sandwich. Enjoy sandbars and miles of beautiful, almost desolate, sandy coast and a
quiet neighborhood. The cottage features a knotty pine interior with fireplace, open living
room/kitchen floor plan, three bedrooms, a screened in porch, and a deck.
This house has been in my family for forty years and I have many warm sunny memories of reading in
the hammock, making sandcastles on the sandbars at low tide, grilling steaks on the grill in the
back
yard under the shade of the Banyan tree-ish Maple, afternoon naps on the screened in porch, and
simply being with my family in our warm, quiet, getaway.
Enjoy croquet, the grill, deck, an outdoor shower, and the hammock in the back yard.
Vacation Rental Amenities
Gas range, toaster oven, coffeemaker, pots, pans and all necessary cooking suplies.
cable tv, telephone (local call's only).
Queen size bed, and 3 singles,
Beach chairs, Beach toys for the children.
Gas grill, patio table with umbrella, extra outdoor shower, hammock and croquet set.
Sorry, no linens, washer/dryer or dishwasher available.
Activities and Attractions
In addition to all the usual beach activities, Sandwich offers mini-golf, restaurants with fresh sea
food, hiking trails at the nearby Mirkwood Nature Reserve or Miles Standish State Park, unique
museums, historic sites and my favorite; the ice cream stand!
Also in near-by Hyanis you can find virtually anything; Deep-sea fishing, Whale watching, Golf,
Shopping, jet ski/boat rentals, theaters, nightlife, ect.
