Vacation Rental Description

This lovely 1946 stone home features heavily-wooded property with 
nearly 3 acres of total privacy, small branch, apple orchard, old  
barn,large mature trees, native rhododendron, mountain laurel,fern  
and other vegetation. 
Home features 4 bedrooms and 2 full tile baths with tub and shower.  
A lovely screened porch featuring rockers, small table and a small  
dining table to enjoy your morning coffee, breakfast and afternoon  
cordial, a covered back patio with gas grill and a separate detached  
covered picnic shed offers you  many options for cookouts, hiking on  
the expansive grounds or just relaxing, be it any time of year.   
This home features all hardwood floors and real plaster walls. 
The kitchen has just been completely renovated, featuring new  
appliances, new plumbing, new lighting, new paint, new  
floorcovering, re-done cabinets and all hardware and drawer handles,  
etc. 
The downstairs bath has also been repainted and new floorcovering  
installed. A fourth bedroom has just been repainted and upgraded. 
Two new Trane heat pumps/AC have just been installed and there is a  
Buck Stove in the living room for your winter comfort.  A formal

bedrooms as well.  Another bedroom features attractive sitting area  
with Cable TV, sofa and easy chair.  The extra large living room  
includes Buck Stove, Cable TV, sofa, two recliners and tables.   
  If you are seeking a private getaway, this may be just what you  
want! If you need to be tethered to minute-by-minute electronic  
connectivity, this type solitude and privacy may not be for you.   
We do not have a land-based telephone nor an internet connection  
but bring your cell phone as Verizon and others have service here.

Vacation Rental Rates

2008 Rates (subject to change without notice:  
Special Fall Foliage Rate: 10% off September and October rentals for  
3-night rentals or more (rates shown below are before discount). 
$150 per night or $875 week for up to 6 people.  Over 6 people extra  
charge of $25 per person per night with maximum occupancy of 8 people.  
(2 Night Minimum required for all rentals) and $200 refundable Security  
deposit(NC&County Taxes of 10.75% are in addition; no Cleaning Fee Charge). 
 
Deposit is immediately returned upon cleaning and inspection, 
assuming no damage or missing items to home or its contents.  
Member of Brevard/Transylvania County Chamber of Commerce. 
  
Monthly rates quoted on request. 
Note: Longer term rentals considered - please call owners direct  
References, credit report and larger deposit required for longer  
term rentals). 
Reservations will be held 5 mailing days on your verbal word  
awaiting receipt of rental check and deposit check (2 checks  
please).  Payment of rental amount and deposit required in advance  
of check-in.  Check-in time is after 3 PM, check-out by 10 AM so  
as to allow cleaning time between guests. Sorry, No Pets of any type  
are permitted.  This is a Non-Smoking Facility (inside the home).
