Sunset Lakes - Luxury pool home on Disney's doorstep! in Kissimmee

Our luxury 4 bedroom fully air-conditioned pool villa is in a fantastic location at Sunset Lakes, just off Highway 192 in the West Kissimmee area.

Our vacation getaway is truly a home from home, furnished to a high standard and with all the amenities you would expect, including a host of hi-tech features. This is a spacious and welcoming holiday destination within a secure gated community making an ideal destination for your vacation.

Sunset Lakes is a small, prestigious gated community and one of the closest to Orlando's main attractions. It is a mature development of detached pool homes surrounding 2 natural lakes, which attract many varieties of fish and wildlife. Relaxing in the peace and tranquility of this fabulous location it is hard to imagine that you are just 4 miles from the Main Gates of Disney. You really can visit the parks in the morning, spend the afternoon relaxing by your own private pool & then return to the parks in minutes.

It also provides excellent access to the other attractions in the Orlando area, such as Seaworld and Universal Studios. Shops and restaurants are just a few minutes away and there are several high quality golf courses nearby. Easy access can be obtained onto Interstate 4 providing links to other parts of Florida including the Gulf Coast and Daytona Beach.

On site there is a communal pool & children’s play area, and if you bring your own rods you can fish in the well-stocked lake (catch and release). Conservation land adjoins the development creating a natural habitat for the wildlife of Florida.

Living Room

Sunset Villa provides a spacious, light and airy open plan living area with two large leather sofas, one of which converts into a queen bed. The living room overlooks the swimming pool and has a large sliding patio door allowing access onto the pool deck. There is a 46-inch flat screen TV with HD cable (including Starz and HBO channels) and an upscaling DVD player with a good selection of DVDs for all ages. Also we have a Sony Playstation 3 with the MOVE system, which allows you to play a selection of exciting games (including Harry Potter) using only the motion of your body. For musical entertainment there is a stereo CD player and a BOSE SoundDock so that you can enjoy your very own music from your iPod/iPhone.

Dining Room

The dining area has an extending table and chairs seating up to 8 people. There are a further two stools which can be used at the adjacent breakfast bar. The dining area has direct access to the lanai (shaded patio area with ceiling light/fan) via sliding doors. This area also houses the ‘home office’ corner – just bring your own laptop to be totally connected to the fast broadband wifi service, and connect wirelessly or by the provided cable to the laser printer – great for printing out your boarding cards before departure, spreadsheets or other documents. Two portable telephones are provided, with unlimited free calls to local and US national landlines.

Kitchen

There is a fully equipped kitchen with full size cooker, fridge freezer with icemaker, double sink with waste disposal, microwave oven, dishwasher, electric kettle, food mixer, blender and many other appliances. Everything you would need is here, whether putting together a simple salad or preparing a full four course meal. The cupboards are well stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, serving dishes and lots of plastic ware for your outside dining by the pool.

Pool and Lanai

Three sets of patio doors lead directly onto the very private screened pool deck where you will find plenty of high quality sun loungers, tables, chairs and side tables to enjoy the Florida sunshine until late into the evening. There is a shaded lanai area that has an overhead fanlight and a table and chairs for outside dining. The pool can be heated upon request during the cooler months.

Games Room

The Games Room, formerly a double garage, contains a pool table & foosball/table soccer, and sofas for lounging. There is also a box with a selection of board games. For car parking, there is a full double driveway outside the garage, featuring a solar powered, motion activated security light – plenty of room for two cars, side by side.

Bedrooms

The villa contains 4 spacious bedrooms with a layout that gives the ability for combined families / larger parties to holiday together but have their own private space. Further sleeping accommodation is provided by the extremely comfortable queen sofa bed in the lounge. All bedrooms now feature Sony iPod/iPhone docking alarm radio clocks, so every room in the home now has the ability to charge/listen to your iPod/iPhone.

All the bedding is provided and the beds are made up with clean linen before you arrive. Extra bedding is provided should you need it. The villa has air-conditioning throughout, so will remain at a constant cool temperature that will make you feel comfortable even if the temperatures are on the up and up outside, and will also help towards giving you a good nights sleep.

King bedroom

The King master bedroom has a king size bed with a luxurious non-allergenic mattress topper to sink into, radio alarm clock and en-suite bathroom with wc, garden tub bath, large walk in shower cubicle and twin vanity units (and hairdryer). There is a walk-in closet off the bathroom with electronic safe and lots of hanging storage space. The master bedroom also has a ceiling fan, sliding doors for direct access onto the pool area, a 32-inch flat screen cable HDTV and upscaling DVD player. Both bedroom and en suite have wide door access, making them fully wheelchair accessible.

Queen bedroom

The Queen master bedroom has a queen size bed with a luxurious non-allergenic mattress topper to sink into, radio alarm clock and en-suite bathroom with wc, large walk in shower cubicle and wash hand basin. There is a built in closet with lots of hanging storage space. The Queen bedroom also has a ceiling fan, a view to the front of the property, a 32-inch flat screen cable HDTV and upscaling DVD player. A cupboard also contains a wide selection of paperback books to enjoy during your stay.

Disney Twin bedroom

The Disney themed twin bedroom has twin beds and a selection of Disney character toys. It also has a ceiling fan, 26-inch flat screen cable HDTV and DVD player. A built in closet provides hanging storage space. The bedroom is adjacent to the family bathroom which has a bath with shower over, wash hand basin and wc (and hairdryer).

Second Twin bedroom

This second twin bedroom has twin beds and a Playstation 2 games system with a selection of games. It also has a radio alarm clock, ceiling fan, 26-inch flat screen cable HDTV and upscaling DVD player. A built in closet provides hanging storage space. The bedroom shares the Jack & Jill bathroom with the Queen room, providing a large walk in shower cubicle, wc and wash hand basin.

Baby Equipment

The villa has a folding cot/playpen with bedding, a high chair, two lightweight strollers for those long days at the parks and a bed guard for the toddler who would like to be in a ‘big’ bed but isn’t totally confident about being out of a cot.

Theming

Although we are ‘on Disney’s doorstep’, we have tried to strike a balance in the decoration of our home. While the Disney bedroom and surrounding areas have lots of Disney links, we have kept the main living areas ‘Disney-free’ since not everyone who visits Orlando is ‘Mouse-obsessed’. We hope our guests appreciate this approach.
