you can get without the drive to Key West! Beautiful views of the
Gulf of Mexico!
The open water views of the Gulf of Mexico are outstanding from the
expansive back porch or the the multiple french doors that rim the
living, dining and kitchen areas! Bold colors are the theme in this
Key West style home. An eclectic mix of furnishings and decoration
inside gives this home a distinctive difference from the norm! The
kitchen is the center point of the home and has just been redone with
all new facings, doors and fabulous granite counters. The living and
dining areas wrap around the kitchen so everyone gets to share in the
conversation and beautiful views through the "window walls" of French
doors.
The master bedroom with a King size bed has its own bath and access to a front porch shared with the second bedroom. The bath is a masterpiece of tumbled marble tile and custom sculptured glass. A hall bath serves the second bedroom which has a Queen bed and the upstairs loft bedroom that has 2 twin beds and Plantation shutters for privacy.
A freshwater pool and spa have been placed waterside and offer
another ideal location to relax and look at the water and sunset
colors. Just beyond the pool a pier dock offers boat dockage and a
great spot to relax and enjoy the views and watch the sunset colors!
Snorkeling off the dock you will find a world of tropical fish and sea
creatures. You may even catch supper!

The home also offers complimentary kayaks for guests use, a great way to explore the shoreline and view the wildlife above and below the water!

The home offers broadband (Comcast) wireless internet for those who must keep in touch.

This is designated a non-smoking home. Small pets will be considered.
This home is adjacent to the Gulf Front Refuge listed on this site.
Combined the homes have 6 bedrooms and 4 baths. The backyards are
adjacent so you would have 2 pools and 2 docks yet the opportunity to
take some time out and relax in your own home, a great combination
for friends and families traveling together! Both are private residences with no shared amenities, just happen to be next door to each other!

The home is located on Grassy Key which is a great spot to walk, run
or ride bikes through an extensive residential neighborhood. If you
want to venture further the Heritage Trail will take you on into
Marathon proper. The Dolphin Research Center is also located on
Grassy Key and is always a fun spot to stop in for their tours or
schedule a swim with the dolphin.
Boat rental companies are available in Marathon and most of them will
let you keep the boat at your dock (some will even deliver and pick
up the boat!).
Marathon offers everything you will need as far as supplies (2
grocery stores, 2 drug stores a KMART and many other shops), bait and
tackle shops, gifts shops and a wide selection of restaurants.
