Vacation Rental Description

     This is a spacious house that sits 75 feet from the water and 
has 150 feet of shore line. Skylights and cathedral ceilings in the 
kitchen and livingroom give an added sense of space and light. A 
large deck overlooking the water and facing West provides both 
solitude and unobstructed panoramic views of passing sailboats, 
lobster boats and water activities. Spectacular sunsets and 
nighttime star-studded skies are memorable.
     The large eat-in kitchen faces the water and has easy access to 
the deck, which makes eating outside easily accessible.The kitchen 
is designed to function well for large or small groups. Counters and 
floors are tiled and there is ample space for group participation in 
meal preparation.
     The livingroom and dining area are divided only by a working  
gas stove. The upstairs can be approached from one of two stairways: 
a spiral staircase from the livingroom, leading to the front of the 
upstairs; the other accessed from the dining area, providing a more 
private access to the back of the upstairs. The house can be enjoyed 
for intergenerational gatherings, with privacy offered to any 
combination of tenants. Downstairs, bright colors, wooden or tiled 
floors, and simplicity of furniture lend to a carefree vacation.
     On the first floor there is a master bedroom (queen bed) that 
has a slider door which leads onto the deck, and there is a private 
bath. Upstairs there are two full bathrooms, two double bedrooms, 
and a big room with bunks and a single bed. The house sleeps 9 
comfortably. Upstairs, in the back of the house, is a large, sunny 
family room. The upstairs is carpeted to absorb noise.
     The house sits on a lot that provides privacy on the water side 
as well as immediate access to the water. The entrance to the house 
is convenient to the private road and the driveway provides ample 
parking close to the house.
     One of the most unique features of the property is its ability 
to provide a perfect vacation spot for all ages or combinations of 
vacationers. Whether exploring the shoreline at high or low tide, 
swimming, casting for stripers off the rocks, catching fireflies, 
strolling along the wooded road, photographing or painting the 
scenic surroundings, boating or enjoying the deck, it is an 
opportunity to unwind and enjoy Maine at its best.

Vacation Rental Amenities

     Fully equipped eat-in kitchen. Vermont Castings gas stove in 
livingroom. Outdoor gas grill. Large deck with unobstructed view of 
water. Washer,dryer and large freezer in laundry room. Lobster 
cooker and eating utensils.Sheets, towels, beach towels. Four 
bedrooms (queen, 2 doubles,and dorm room with bunks and a single) 
sleeps 9. Three full baths and a half bath. Cable TV service. Direct 
access to water and deep water.

Activities and Attractions

     Local swimming, boating, fishing, walking, kayaking, canoeing, 
biking. In nearby Bath (8 miles)are excellent restaurants, shops, 
library, performing arts center, weekly outdoor concerts, farmers' 
market twice a week, boat excursions, kayak and boat rentals, Maine 
Maritime Museum, walking tours of beautiful homes rich in history of 
shipbuilding town,a well groomed 18 hole golf course at the Bath 
Country Club, and tennis courts. Within a short distance is the 
Sebasco Resort which offers chartered sailboat excursions and 
another topnotch golf course. Within 45 minutes or less is 
picturesque Boothbay Harbor where visitors can enjoy seal and whale 
watching boat tours. The town of Brunswick, home of the Maine Music 
Theater (with Broadway experienced casts) is twenty minutes away. 
The city of Portland, LL Bean's in Feeport, Camden and Camden 
Harbor, Pemaquid Lighthouse, Popham Beach and Reid State Park are 
all fun places to spend the day.

Vacation Rental Rates

$2500 a week for the week starting June 30,2007 through the week 
starting July 21,2007. $2200 a week for two or more consecutive 
weeks. Rentals of less than 5 people will be $2000/week for one week 
and $1800/week for multiple weeks.

$2800 a week for the week starting Aug.4,2007 through the week 
starting Aug. 25,2007. $2500 a week for two or more consecutive 
weeks. Rentals of less than 5 people will be $2300/week for one week 
and $2100/week for multiple weeks.

$2200 a week for the week starting Sept.1,2007 through the week 
starting Sept. 8,2007,and $1900 for two weeks. Rentals of less than 
5 people will be $1700/week for one week and $1500/week for two 
weeks.

Security deposit: $300 (refundable)
