Norman style Stone house on estate with private lake in Fishkill

This magnificent old stone house sits on a slope overlooking a
beautiful 5 acre lake on a well manicured estate. There are approx.
30 acres of mowed lawns and field; hiking trails, and lots of room to
explore. Both the estate and lake are private.

The house is furnished beautifully. Each room's furnishings are
picked to compliment the house, and fit with the character of the
property.

Large beautiful trees abound. Outdoor furniture is plentiful, and
easy located to a scenic spot to enjoy the day's happenings. Each
season is special and unique and wonderful activities can be found.

The house floorplan is as follows: Ground floor: foyer, hallway,
living room, kitchen, 1/2 bath. Second floor: master bedroom with
King, Full bath with tub, Bedroom 2 has 2 twins, Bedroom 3 has trundle
bed (2 twins). Basement has full size washer/dryer.

The house is equipped with all linens, towels, bedspreads, starter
supplies of paper goods. The kitchen has a dishwasher, gas stove,
full size refrigerator, full dish service for 8, glassware, pots/pans,
baking casserole type dishes, coffeepot, blender, microwave, toaster
(regular and bagel size).

Large outdoor propane grill, picnic table with bench seats, and 6
Adirondack style chairs.

Rowboat and Paddleboat are available, as are lawn games: volleyball,
croquet, bocci, horseshoes.

There is as much to do or as little to do as your interests would lead.

Active hikes, lazy paddles in the lake, or swim to the swimming
platform, and rest on the deck chairs.

Fish are plentiful (we adhere to "catch and release"). Fishermen from
young to old will have a wonderful time.

Fall leaves are brillant on the hillside. The Hudson Valley offers
some of the most wonderful historic sites in NYS. From The mansions
in Hyde Park, to STorm King Art Center, to the new Dia Museum, there
is fun for everyone. Shopping, both new, and antique abounds.

Rate per week - $1200.

Or, it is possible to rent the adjacent house with a connecting
hallyway, and sleep up to 12. The adjacent house is also listed
under vacation rental as "scenic stone gate house...." Rate for 12 is
$2400/week. Whether you rent the Norman style house, or the scenic
stone gate house, each is very private. Separate entrances for both,
and completely separate amenities.

Weekend rates available, year round. In the summer, "weekends only"
may be reserved during the preceding week only. Seasonal rates
also. Please inquire regarding either of these.
