Vacation Rental Description
The Schappell house is a great family retreat. With 4 bedrooms
and 21/2 bathrooms. It can accomodate up to 16 persons. It is
approximately 2500 square feet and is on a large lot, within walking
distance to the lake, restaurants, night life, and so much more.
Relax in the hot tub, bar-b-que on the spacious deck, or enjoy
private moments on the upper private deck. This is a very unique
home with good parking. It is located on a quiet residential street
and has a fully fenced back yard for the kids. You will love this
great get away! Close to the Mt Shasta ski area and never ending
recreational opportunities.
Vacation Rental Amenities
Large, fully equipped kitchen, including dishes, pots and pans and
all cooking utensils, coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave,
dishwasher, refrigerator, island stove, breakfast bar, washer and
dryer, and much more.
Master bedroom is upstairs with a full bath and private deck. It
has a Cal-King bed and a futon.
The other three private bedrooms have queen beds.
There is a large dining room and living room. The living room has
3 futons. This area is open and spacious.
The large deck has a bar-b-que, chairs for lounging, picnic
tables,
and a great hot tub.
Each bedroom has a tv, vcr, and cd player.
There is also internet access and a video library.
Activities and Attractions
This marvelous area offers an array activities. Just up the road
at Mt Shasta there is snow skiing, snowboarding, and all kinds of
winter related activities. Mt. Shasta and Dunsmuir have wonderful
restaurants and exciting activities year round. Of course, Lake
Shasta is paradise for summer sports, including, swimming, boating,
skiing, wakeboarding, fishing, hanging around, hiking, birdwatching,
biking, sightseeing, and so much more. There is great shoping in
Redding for all your needs. There is world class golfing in Mt.
Shasta and Redding. This is the primo area in California with its
beautiful National Forests, clean air and water, and endless
recreational opportunities. Of course if its serenity and quiet you
want, there is plenty of that too. All in all, its the best!
Vacation Rental Rates
In Season: June 17 thru August 26 - $2650.00 per week - (one week
minimum)
Mid Season: May 5 thru June 17 and August 26 thru October 27 -
$1850.00 per week - $300.00 per night - (3 night minimum)
Off Season: October 27 thru May 5 - $1450.00 per week - $245.00
per night - (3 night minimum)
All rentals subject to a 10% tot tax. All Holiday rentals are
priced at $450.00 per night, 3 night minimum.
All reservations require a $500.00 refundable deposit plus one-
half of the rental fee. Full rental fee is due 45 days prior to
reservation date.
CANCELLATIONS; Within 45 days or more: Full rental fee paid less
half the deposit paid will be refunded. Within 30 to 44 days: Half
rental fee paid and half deposit paid will be refunded. Within 0 to
29 days: Full deposit refunded only. No Exceptions.
