Ahhhhhhh!  Now you've found your perfect Hawaiian vacation  
spot!  "Hale Honu" or "Turtle Hut", aptly named for the magical green  
sea turtles which nestle along our adjoining black sand beach, offers  
a tranquil haven to human travellers, too!   
 
Perfectly located between Kailua-Kona and Hilo, and only a short drive to Volcanoes National  
Park and its awesome eruption shows, Turtle Hut overlooks the  
magnificent Pacific Ocean and the 18th Green and Fairway of Sea  
Mountain's Par 72 golf course.  The course is rarely busy, and at $32  
including the cart, offers one of the most affordable golfing experiences on  
the island!  
 
Enjoy our four tennis courts and our large fresh water POOL or black lava SPA and bask in our  
tradewinds-cooled sunshine or under our spectacular star-filled nightskies!  We are a short stroll  
away from the Black Sand Beach at Punaluu, lined with rows of palm trees and rimmed by ancient royal  
tidepools and fishponds.  Our beach is consistently rated #3 of the Top Ten Hawaiian Beaches, and is  
consistently rated among the top beaches anywhere in the world by the Travel Channel!   
 
Turtle Hut is exceptionally well equipped, providing thoughtful comforts to pamper  
our guests!  The bedroom has a comfy king size bed with palm tree motif bedding; the living room has  
a surprisingly comfortable queen size sleeper sofa; the compact-but-loaded kitchen has a full-size  
refrigerator, 4 burner cooktop, microwave, George Foreman grill, coffee maker and, of course, a  
blender for your MaiTais or Pina Coladas on the lanai!  Both the living room and bedroom have color  
cable TV; the entertainment center includes a DVD & VCR player, a CD & cassette stereo and a variety  
of Hawaiian music and entertaining movies!  We also stock everything for your glorious days on the  
beach:  great, fold-up beach chairs; a cooler; beach mats; and basic snorkel  
sets.

Vacation Rental Rates

Low Season:  April 15 - December 1 @ $85/night;  High Season: December 2 - April 14 @ $100/night 
3 night minimum stay in low season and 1 week minimum in high season; we love longer stays,  so  
please inquire about discounts for 10 days and longer!    
Please add $60. cleaning & restocking fee & 11.25% Hawaii State Taxes.  30% deposit required to  
reserve your stay, remaining balance due no later than 30 days before  
arrival.  Full refunds made for cancellations received in writing 30 days  
before arrival.
